Living Out of My 2000 LX 470

I think the above answers cover it. How hard will it be being alone with yourself? Will you end up at restaurants/bars/etc to kill time and be social costing you your savings. I have seen milk crate and wood top platforms work great for folks, so no concern on woodworking skills! Your cloths...

    Uwharrie camp location?

Just a warning. This can be a popular (loud) spot on weekends and warmer weather. It is also used as a boat (kayak) launch. It is a pretty spot when quiet!

    New to photography

That is a perfect explanation. SO the next step is to ask what you are trying to capture: Motion - fast or slow How much in focus - this can change with focal length, but larger number f stop, more in focus How much light is there? Slower shutter means any motion in picture might be blurred...

Can anyone tell me about this Military trailer???

They are heavy! I think a 250 would be fine. From what I see, if you get it for $1k and it is in as nice a condition as it appears, that is a good deal. They are not as popular as the M101

Treating rain fly on RTT/Smittybuilt overlander

I did both on my Flippac. I wanted teh UV for the tent since I camp at the beach and it gets hours of sun, but it did a great job waterproofing it. The next time I did the fly. I do mine every other year with about 40 nights a year camping.

Live Work Wander: A couple traveling North America in a Land Cruiser

I liked the "season" and the episode length was good. I agree the intro and plugs got old, but binge watching them didn't help. I almost think I saw the moment he realized the van wasn't his future.... Good luck to them!

I bought this Stansport set a couple of years ago. Heavy enough not to scorch food. Has cleaned up well every time, I am very happy with them. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Stansport-Stainless-Steel-Family-Cook-Set/9856755

2001 Montero XLS - Need an Engine - Chicago Area

Double and triple check a mechanic doing a cross manufacturer swap! I think the guy in the southeast doing the Chevy v8 into 80 series is north of $20k for the swap, but that is all sorted out! I think the biggest fear is finding someone down the road to work on a swapped motor truck.... good...
