where are you headed from oxnard? i can recommend nice rural routes in any direction. if you stay on hwy 33 through ojai, you wind up and over 5400ft elevation, and can go west on 166 back tword the coast, or stay on 33 and head for Bakersfield and north up the 5. feel free to call or text for...

oh i can imagine. I live in Ojai and ran miller twice in the spring in my wifes XJ, and we will again before it closes for winter. I dream of the day when my 2500 is equipped for that trail, i would consider 35s and 1 locker minimum for a full size truck on miller....sound about right?

took a fam trip up highway 1 to Big Sur last weekend. spent 3 nights in a campground, while the rest of my family rented a cabin. it allowed us to park my dodge and drive my dads 2010 f150 for a few days. then we ditched the rest of the fam with no agenda except that i wasnt ready to go back...

that is nuts! Welcome to the future. Technology is amazing. ive pulled 6-7k lbs in a 2011 f150 5.4 it did fine, i wouldn't want to drive cross country with a 1/2 ton loaded that much, but the fact that they CAN do it, is amazing.
