A fellow San Diegan! How do you like the fridge drawer? I have a 60qt ARB currently and have been looking at a drawer fridge to free up some vertical space. Do you feel like it loses its cold air quickly when opened?
I commend your willingness to do this while living in what seems to be an apartment complex. Sanding in the bathroom made me laugh but you gotta use what you have. Nice work!
I did my whole rear storage in 3/4" and there are areas I would keep it as such but areas I know 1/2" would be just fine. I think with the right engineering you could do 1/2" esp. if you use a metal frame.
Pop those plastic covers and I'm willing to bet you have threaded holes you could find a bolt to fit. Be careful not to over torque the bolts as you may end up what I did and break the nut that's welded underneath. It's not too big of a deal though since I was able to access underneath and use a...
Are there brackets where the 3rd row would lock into the floor? If so you could utilize those holes the brackets are using to anchor the rear storage. This is the way I have done it on my 80 series, not sure how the 100 compares.
Keeps us up to date rayra! Good idea with the red fusion paint, just used some of that stuff (in black) this past weekend on my center caps on the 80.
I picked up one of the rifel cases on a whim during the 20% off sale this past weekend also. Fit my 2 solar panels in it with all the extras...
I have 2 cases both the Apache 3800. One is my first aid box that's kept in the LC and another carries all my camera gear (minus tripods). I have also purchased one and fitted a bottle of whiskey a few tumblers and shot glasses as a gift for a friend. Worked out great.
^ +1 E-trailer is a great place.
Do you know if the 2018 Cruiser is identical to 2019? I'm talking fascia wise because the frame would 99% be the same. If the front bumper is the same across years then I'd be willing to bet a front mount hitch made for the 2018 will fit your 2019.
Here's the...
The rack idea I picked up from the mud forums. The brand is called Metro and some people have mounted it using custom made brackets; however, I mounted mine with 4 heavy duty zipties since only light items go up there like blankets.
I went in the direction of compartments that hold boxes. I couldn't commit to a drawer system but still wanted to keep boxes from flying around off-road and in case of emergency. I designed my system as a cavity that could be filled with boxes, bags etc. It's not perfect as it only fits a...
After searching around for something more sound proof I picked up this from Home Depot. It has a few mm of play where the main pin slides into the holder but nothing I can hear while driving over washboard. However, I will say that I have had to replace this once after 2 years of off roading...
I use a bladder which I can hang anywhere for hand washing etc, and carry additional 1-gal plastic bottles for drinking water. Bladders are so much more efficient than massive water bottles b/c as you empty them you're not left with the cavity of air taking up space.

I enclosed my fridge to keep surface above it open for items while cooking or sleeping.
I prefer to keep my fridge low due to COG and being able to reach into it esp. for my wife. They do sell fridge slides that tilt too but they seem pretty expensive off the shelf. Also you can...
