**SOLD** Day Light Awning - Suction or Rack Mount (San Diego)

***SOLD****I have an awning I'm looking to sell locally (San Diego, CA) that can either mount to your bare roof with the suction mounts or on an existing roof rack. I currently have an awning on my vehicle and I planned to use this on the rear however the way I want to mount it doesn't jive...

Eastern Sierras: Sand Canyon, Mammoth, Minarets

Thanks! Most of the research was done on this forum, asking members and searching around. I also recently came across this resource. Another way is just opening up Google maps and looking for roads that lead into the mountains.

Eastern Sierras: Sand Canyon, Mammoth, Minarets

A few of us went out for a week long trip from San Diego to the Eastern Sierras the end of August. We visited a few areas including Sand Canyon, Obsidian Dome, San Joaquin Ridge (a usual favorite) and a full day hike out to Minaret Lake. Without information from members here I would never have...

    Day trip food storage

I have the same Engel I got from woot. I completely agree on the hinges and have thought about attaching a chain inside to stop the lid from going back too far.

Brilliant! I'm going to use the basic idea but add a hook where your light is to hang my lantern from. Thanks for sharing!

Trash hauling without an exterior tire carrier?

I use the trasharoo and just stick it up top on my rack when in transit (tied down). When at camp I'll hang it off the rack so we can throw trash away and at night (if in Sierra bear country) we walk the bag away from camp and hoist it into a tree. I tried hanging it off the rear window but...

Another +1 on SDTrux. Honest, down to earth, and great communication. I wouldn't take my LC anywhere else.

Ironman 4x4 70-series ute on the 5 north in SD!

Looks like the one from SEMA. Spent a few minutes checking out all the accessories. Pretty cool! Rare sights are fun. I get more excited seeing a Subaru Justy than I do a Lamborghini. Everyone is different.

    Shower tents and privys

I picked up one of these from amazon. It was $30, folds very quickly, sets up quickly, and folds up slim. Only used as a bathroom so far and there's nothing to hang a shower on inside so it may not be the best option for showering. It has come in very handy and the lady really appreciates it...

    Our 1st 80 Series build

I love this! I've been a subaru fan for over a decade having owned a few and having spare seats too. How did the install go? Did you create custom brackets? How is the ride height of the seats compared to the stock seats? Great work! Those WRX seats are a dime a dozen and cheap!
