The swing arms on the bumper swing out ~120 degrees and allow the van doors to open almost as far. It doesn't restrict anything for our uses.

The 4 Runner is the wifes and is bone stock- it's silver though!

I have an '06 DC with a snugtop, Frontrunner roof rack, and am getting ready to install CBI front and rear bumpers. The sc really really wakes this engine up- I couldn't imagine all the additions without one. Torque for days- I guarantee you won't struggle up hills with one.

The rack is ~60# and the weight rating for the top is 500 pounds dynamic weight- the static weight capacity will be much greater. It will be plenty for the tent and occupants.

Just an fyi- I plan on a snugtop XV with the Sportsman's package which adds a reinforced top able to support 500#. To the top I'm adding a Front Runner rack that will enable me to customize what I take when/where including a RTT if needed.
