I'm thinking about adding a sunroof to my Tacoma and ran across an electric vinyl roof panel that slides open made by the webasto company (top player in sunroofs). I've heard mixed thngs on these- leaks, noise, etc, but also that it's a great top. The idea is very appealing but it's a big step...
For those getting a custom rear bumper on a '05+, are you planning on reinforcing the frame? I have read about frame strenghening on the older models but nothing much is said about it with the newer Tacomas due to their beefier frames (I don't think CBI is suggesting it). Thoughts?
They are not compatable AFAIK. There are several offroad fabricators out there- I am having a rear bumper made by CBI Offroad called a TrailRider and am having them add a reat tire/highlift carrier to it. They are well respected.
Looks fantastic! Great job! I don't suppose you would go thru the trouble to hook a complete stranger like me up with one of those?! (I would make it worth your trouble!)
Our local dealer has been extremely helpful- there are tons of options and he seemed very accommodating. The only issue is the price- ~$2500 with solid doors with shelving, but that is installed with color matched paint and a yakima track system.
What I'd really like to do is add a Frontrunner...

What degree rear shims did you place? I have the same lift on my '06 (I have a TW drive shaft and Total Chaos UCA's as well) and have a slight vib around 70 mph and feel a 2 degree shim in the rear probably will take care of it.
Also, most add the 886's only if there is a heavy wench or bumper...
