Just bought one of these. $415 bux off.
Not sure what they are up to in the USA, and this is funny money before you go thinking this is in US dollars.

Someone on the Outback site was asking about alignment. They were suggesting that a 2" lift would require camber/castor offsets to keep things aligned properly and there was no mention of it on the site. Is it something that is simply assumed?
All greek to me. But I will consider this option...
Oooh. Interesting.
I was going to get the LP Aventure lift kit in the spring.
One of the features listed is for the Ironman product is additional accessory weight. What do you think that means exactly?
Would you recommend this over the LP lift kit?
What am I missing here. If I go on PA, the Canadian site, the most expensive actuator on there in that stroke range is about $600 Can with specs that at least appear to be well beyond the need of a small camper.
Those LA-36 are like $1900 Canadian.
Am I missing some key specs I don't know...
I think it's great. I learn stuff from almost every post made on this site. It's a LOT of information.
Good luck with the project, I think it is amazing what people take on.
Hopefully someday I'll know enough to help others.
That was my first thought too.
Seems like a really 'easy' study to put together, though nothing is easy to do properly. Coffee is so ritualized you could be pretty confident in the self reporting side of it too.
This is the kind of thing us newbs have no intuition for. Only weighs 5000 lbs puts things into some perspective.
So I ... don't have to worry about my sub 1000 lb topper on an F-XXX series truck that isn't trying to go down the Rubicon trail, but just nasty forest service roads.
Also, here is a supposedly blind taste test of different coffee brewing methods

Found this article on Frech Press health interesting. It's pretty balanced, not fear mongering click bait.

Darn. Now I want to buy one these things. I would have a number of uses for it. Just a couple of questions.
Is it safe to keep it that close to the vehicle?
Is the lowest setting going to cook you to death in a smaller vehicle?
Does the single hose simply push warm fresh air in? There is...
Yeah, that is a night and day difference for running time.
I had no idea they were that cheap. I'm not sure what made me think those things were like 1200 bux, hence thinking about the generator.
I'll probably buy one.
:)
I kind of assume, if I were buying these for a smaller car like a Subaru Outback.... it would matter less what I bought given it is a much lighter vehicle than the zombie apocalypse things people build here.... ?
