    Outback Stove?

Thanks for the input. How often do you use the grill underneath? I'd think it would be really handy for all kinds of cooking, where you'd want brown and crispy, but no fried. Yours looks wide enough to make two slices of toast at a time for breakfast, too. I think it'd be perfect for bagels...

    Outback Stove?

I'm building one into a camper soon. I like the idea of it being semi-permanent, so size doesn't matter. Weight either. These seem to be a wholely UK item. (The Brits DO love their toast). I'd love to hear from them about how they like them, and how useful they are.

    Outback Stove?

Here's a different brand, same idea. Two burners with a toaster in the middle. http://www.amazon.co.uk/OUTWELL-DELUXE-TOASTER-CAMPING-EQUIPMENT/dp/B007IUYD62 These both are UK only. How about it over there, are these popular stoves?

    Whole Vehicle Mosquito Net

As an afterthought, if you had a simple telescoping tent pole attached to your roof rack above the door you could just slide it out to give you enough room to get in and out.

    Whole Vehicle Mosquito Net

Yeah, if the militaries of the world can throw a camo net over a whole vehicle and still operate, why not a bug net, right?

    Whole Vehicle Mosquito Net

OP, as long as the netting is tough enough not to tear when dragged across stuff, I don't see why not. Heck, a couple small logs or rocks would hold it down, right?

    Your favorite camping meals

Buy boneless, skinless chicken breast when they're on sale cheap. Slice them longways so they're a little bigger around than a big tube of toothpaste. Slide your teriyaki bamboo skewer through it longways. Lay them in a big gallon Ziplock until it's about half full. Dump in half a bottle of...

    Whole Vehicle Mosquito Net

Why not a huge shock-cord X frame that you put together and set on the roof, one leg pointing to each corner. Throw the mosquito net over the whole thing. Hoist it up into a tree. Or it can stay on the roof. Then you throw your tarp over that.

CB Mounting Ideas...Post Up Your Solutions!!

Some good ideas in this thread. Good advice, too. May I add some? First, I'm a professional driver and the above mentioned Midland handheld with the mobile adapter is my radio of choice. True, there's no room in the housing for echoes, noise makers, pings, and all the other crap "real" drivers...

favorite food combinations from countries you have traveled to ?

Nothing like Mama-san's Beef Bulkoki and some Yaki-Mandu before a night of Soju, Oscar, and OB beer in South Korea. I also enjoyed a Balut or two AFTER I was drunk and rolling out the front door of the Port Orient Bar at Subic Bay. (They're better with salt). Too many San Miguels those times...

Look up the C-RV Military app. It shows all the military base camp grounds open to active and retirees. Might be a good way for you to transition a little smoother?
