    Water cooler parts?

We all see them. Some have them in our homes. They run on 110 VAC. They take room temperature water from a big upside down clear plastic jug and turn it into VERY cold or VERY hot water, right? Anybody ever crack one open, strip the parts, and make an in-vehicle water heater/cooler that'll run...

    Steps into camper

Found it Googling one day for aluminum stair or steps. It was a dead link but I managed to snip the pic. Anyone? Beuller? Anyone?

    24 volt dual batt Q's.

K, thanks guys. How about if I want to jump start somebody this winter. Can their 12 volt system take a monetary touch of 24 volt to get started, or do I have to disconnect one of my batts to jump them?

    24 volt dual batt Q's.

Truck is an ex Swedish army Volvo Tgb111C with a 24 volt system. It has 2 12 volt, 100 amp batteries. Can I just install a cut-off between the two batteries for the night, using one for house to run fridge, lights, etc., then reconnect them, start the truck, and recharge the house one while...

    Steps into camper

This is the only pic I've found of the steps I'd like to make. Their design dictates that the steps would always be level regardless of where the base hits the ground. Raise them up and they slide right in under the body. If it were me I'd cut the four feet off the bottom for a more stable base...

    Custom water tanks

Google for marine tanks. I had one roto-molded for my old boat. They even put the right size fittings where I wanted them. Sorry, don't remember where it was.

Bolt on Our Flippac Question. Help.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you just unlatch the top and place the handle on the torsion bar almost straight up, then just pull down forwards? The handle only has to travel less than 180°, right?

    Using Camping Chairs Inside Tent

Yup, either fold up a tarp for each chair in a pinch, or stab a hole in an old tennis or racquetball ball and kinda push it into itself making sort of a double bowl. We've even duct-taped them to chairs, cots, and tables that stay in a tent for weeks at a time.

    2005 Unimog U500 w/ flat alaskan camper

Yeah, I guess I can see that. If you're in flat desert terrain, departure angles don't mean as much as ability to transport your dirt bike. Makes sense. And both the Alaskan and Unimog are proven many times over.

    2005 Unimog U500 w/ flat alaskan camper

Why would anyone build a departure angle like that into a truck that has an approach angle like that?

Easyshell, have you made a thread about your stairs? I'll need to find something similar for our Volvo Tgb111C soon.
