Ok, thank you for the details, very helpful. I've reached out to Sportiva and they've suggested two winter boots for me to look at. I need to find a local supplier for their winter boots now.
GLWS.
Sorry for the dumb question but can these boots be used as regular snow boots while snowshoeing or just snow walking with spikes? Or are they strictly made for ice climbing with crampons? Lastly, what size shoes do you wear? Conversion charts says 43.5 is size 10 U.S. but everything is...
I'm building a cargo drawer system using 1/2 x 1/2 .016" thick wall and the whole thing is rather light!! The drawers are made of the same material and will be lined with the thinnest material I can get my hands on.
Yup, that rotating shelf idea is mine and it's a super handy feature, if I do say so myself.
Nice job on the METRA shelf and the hanging bin, they're uber handy. I installed a second one in the 4runner and made the mistake of removing the top bar that (closest to you) run across the unit for...
I figured as much. What was the asking price? This is one vehicle I'd have *thought* about getting a loan for!!!
I introduced my GF to your YT channel and she was totally loving it. Then she saw the episode where you announced the big news and she was screaming at the TV "no, I just met...
Hopefully the pics are worth a thousand words but let me know if you have any questions.

Might I ask a favor please? Could you give add a third pic on your post of the awning closed up on your 80? It's immensely helpful to see the form factor on the sides of vehicles, at least for me anyway. Thank you sir.
I love your post, thank you for the chuckles. I have a young friend who is 6'5" and he too hates his softshell RTT probably for the same reasons. The last time we went camping, he slept inside his 80 series Landcruiser.
Another friend and I went to the White Rim and during one super windy...
I don't think you're doing anything wrong, but the material may not have been pulled tight enough before stitching. In another words, if the pivot ends at the spine were farther apart from another by, say 3/4", that might make that end of the awning taught. Does this sound about right?
Figured it's time to update this list as couple of new additions were added, thank you all for your contributions.
