    New 270 Awning available.

Morning, I'm not sure if this will help but maybe give you some ideas to noodle on. I made four brackets to support my Bush awning and brackets #3, #4 are close to the hinged area. During freestanding mode, there is considerable amount of leverage on the load bars near the hinge so I opted to...

    Iveco Eurocargo advice

In my random travels, I've seen and drooled at Iveco's passing through our country. I think one was a French family and they actually put it up for sale after their travels and asked me if I wanted it. Of course I wanted it but not practical to own one in USA! It was a nicely done unit for a...

    Espar parts help

This is a dumb question, sorry. Is the switch anything special, other than a simple on/off? If so, can't it be replaced with another one? I have an Espar D2 and have had good luck with talking to espar directly. Perhaps they can sell you the exact item. Just another option.

ARK XO OFF ROAD COUPLER - CLASS 3

I can only speak from my experience and thus far, "dragging" my hitch has yet to happen in the 16 years of ownership. If my hitch was dragging, that'd mean that my entire trailer's belly would be getting dragged across rocks and obstacles. This brings me to my original point of "we ain't rock...

ARK XO OFF ROAD COUPLER - CLASS 3

It's a little shocking to me how the hitches mentioned above weigh 20 to 40lbs. That's a redonk amount of weight and complexity but hey, each to their own. I have a TREG system and i think mine checks in at less than 10#, going on 16 years now. Interesting question about the TV, which I...

    New 270 Awning available.

what an awesome review, thanks for taking the time to post up. Sounds like this awning is not meant to be free standing during normal usage but most probably do it anyway.

    Trailer suspension Options pros/cons

I voted for the Cruisemaster as I have something similar on my Adrenaline trailer. My utility trailer has a "rubber" suspension and there's no way in hell I'd run that on an off-roading trailer. Just my opinion. Leaf spring suspension gets my vote for simplicity and durability. It's a tried...

    Family Water Storage Solutions

What vehicle is this for, might help with answering your question! Heck, just update your signature line with your vehicle info and mods and that will take care of it. In my landcruiser, I don't have the back seat so this isn't applicable to you but the info might help. I have a 15g water...

    Need Latch Suggestion/Solution

I think you found the correct "draw" latch. But there are others with a hook that might work better? Just a thought. May not be any better than what you already picked out. As long as you adjust the stroke, I think that's the most important part. Just a safety message: be sure to plan for a...

    65QT Fridge/Freezer

I'm sorry for this dumb question but does this unit able to have one compartment in freezer mode, while the other one in cold mode at the same time? From the pics, looks like both will freeze or not freeze at the same time.

Campchef Everest stove knob fell off!

You guys are cracking me up! The ones from McMaster Carr would stick out too much vs the guitar knobs, I suspect. These knobs are highly susceptible to impacts so I wonder if it'd be worth the effort to make simple guards. In my case, my stove lives in a dedicated space and the space has...

Campchef Everest stove knob fell off!

Ahhh, thank you for that. If I were to go with the fancy knobs from MC, I would've gotten the 3/16" ID knobs then drill them out to 6mm. I went to my local Ace hardware and they have 1/4" ID knobs all day long but they're too sloppy of a fit, even with set screws. I think the eBay deals...

Campchef Everest stove knob fell off!

You mean like the one i showed on my post? LOL!!! I got four guitar volume/tone knobs coming and they have a 6mm ID hole which is perfect for these 6mm OD shaft. They have setscrews so I think i'll be good to go. I'll have two extras that I can send them onward if I like the way things work...

Campchef Everest stove knob fell off!

Has anyone else experienced this with their Everest 2 burner stove? I've reached out to Campchef but was curious if anyone upgraded their knobs. McMasterCarr has knurled knobs that interests me. I was going to get a size smaller than I need then drill it out accordingly for snug fit.

Forgive this dumb question but Espar provides a high altitude gizmo for the air and hydronic heater. Maybe it doesn't work with your unit? Just curious.
