    2007 Fuso w/Custom Camper -*SOLD*

@Montanajed. The body/camper is a custom built steel frame on a 3 point pivot. I have been very happy with it. It is fully insulated with rigid foam which fits nicely in the frame. Each side of the exterior is composed of 3 overlapping, metal sheets. It is very durable and holds paint...

Here's a pic which was taken in the Tetons. If you look closely, you will see the slight damage to the front bumper.

    2007 Fuso w/Custom Camper -*SOLD*

@czechsix thanks for the feedback. I have really enjoyed this community. I have considered a smaller MB Sprinter...more of a weekender. I will just insulate it and add a heater (espar of course) and call it good :). I want to do more backpacking and less driving. Heck might just put a foam...

2007 Fuso FG 4x4 w Custom 14' Expedition Camper (*Sold*)

If you know anything about the 2007 Fuso FG 4X4, then you know this is that last year Fuso made a real truck. You also know that this truck can be driven anywhere in the world, as it is a pre-emmision commercial rig. This particular truck has not lived in salt air nor been subject to salt...

    2007 Fuso w/Custom Camper -*SOLD*

Since that epic trip in Jan of 2016, the Fuso has been driven less than 1,000 miles. I know it is criminal, right? The job has kept me far busier than I planned. Right now we have 35k on the odometer and we have decided to put the Fuso up for sale. I will post the information in the for sale...

    Fuso SRW options

+1 for Alan's wheels and + 1 for EarthCruiser as a supplier. I put a set on my 04 FG and a set on my 07 FG, both purchased from EarthCruiser. Only once did the tire (err tyre) shop goof up the weight placement. I left the shop, applied the brakes and it felt like I was on a bucking bronco...

    Bleeding an Espar hydronic system

on more thing...I added a Moroso 63765 Air Bleed Valve (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GI0WSA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1). to the highest point in the system to give me a manual way to remove any trapped air (have not used it since the Spirovent installation)

    Bleeding an Espar hydronic system

Backdrop: I have been replacing and re-engineering all of the systems in my custom build box that sits on my 2007 FG. One of the changes I made was to relocate the Isotherm hot water tank. This tank is heated by an Espar D4 Hydronic system. When I relocated the hot water tank I must have...

So this happened to me in Montana...

@OCD Overland - many years ago, I was towing a 24' travel trailer with a 3/4 T Suburban and lost control during a downhill section of the Sierras. We stripped the branches off the trees on the side of the road, danced with the center concrete barriers, and scattered a number of cars/trucks as...

    Mitsu Fuso Camper examples

Look what we spotted near Hanksville, UT on Hwy 24 Alaska plated and they appear to be having a great time just cruising in the lower 48.

    EarthCruiser Overland Vehicles

A chance encounter with an FX Took a quick trip down to Zion National Park last weekend, only to find out that the entire state of Utah was on Spring break. Since we generally boondock, the fact that the campgrounds are already full and booked into July was not a big concern. We found a mesa...

    More on FUSO suspension seats

My $.02 is in favor of the Earthcruiser seats. I have talked to a couple of owners and they are extremely happy with the seat's performance. They look awesome. They are heated (yah for us in the snow country), and you know they will fit in your rig.

Anyone have a source for a rock guard for the windshield? (FUSO FG 2007)

After revisiting the roofracks.com.au site and closely examining this stone guard, I have come to the conclusion that it is going to be too high. It's 12" (300mm) tall and I think that would be distracting. So I am currently inquiring at clearplex.com to see if they will make a custom fitting...

    Our New Fuso FG Build

Great build and have been following your website for more pics and details (http://year5xplorers.com/). On Phase 3, you should plan to stop in and visit us in Pray, Montana on the Yellowstone River. I noticed that your plans are to dump the C4 at dump stations. I have found that the easiest...
