Well, how is it?

Work is finally picking up so hopefully the updates here will too. Today's big news is that I got my windows tinted! All that glass was killing me in the Bakersfield heat; the AC couldn't keep up on the 105+ degree days. And, as an added bonus, it looks pretty sweet :cool: Auto Tint West did...

Out of curiosity, how do the H1s ride? I know they've got coils and independent suspension all around so I would imagine pretty well but I've never had the opportunity to ride in one. Don't they fit 37s or something huge stock? I saw a white wagon the other day and it reminded how much I like...

I think the intake length he was talking about is the intake manifold runner length. I don't think it matters one bit how long the intake is before the throttle body.

Don't get your hopes up. I had that same idea but once I got in there, I found that space to be full of all kinds of stuff. IIRC, it was airbag and ABS things and the associated wires. Thanks for the tip about the foam tape though :)

So the heavys are no more harsh than stock? What's the payload increase? Does it flex as well as stock?

Something tells me that extra width may have been helpful this weekend... Turns out that wet sand was actually soft stinky mud. Oops.

I'm also running 33x10.5s, just in the BFG AT flavor. They fit perfectly with no lift.

What size is the spare? I have an old 31" with no new tire smell that I would gladly trade you for a 33x10.5 :)

I'll throw in my vote for the Mitsubishi's too. I'd boot the Land Rover off the list to make room based solely on its lack of reliability. The last thing you want is a mechanical failure when you're in the middle of nowhere. I've got a 96 Montero SR and it keeps impressing me with its stock...

Can't complain too much. Freeway mileage is decent and they give me the clearance I need. I have yet to wish I had wider tires EXCEPT in some deep, soft sand. And even then, airing down pretty much fixed that issue. Last time I went out I didn't bother airing down (forgot the compressor...
