    FG's in Action

IMHO that is the best EC setup available. No ULSD requirements, no DEF, no, no, no extra emission equipment to break, HI/LO range, and better HP and torque than the previous generation. I am super jealous. Will be keeping an eye for a low mileage, never abused, 2007 to do the same. Congrats to...

First Impressions 2004 with newly installed ATW suspension

Installed the ATW blues on my 2004 FG yesterday. I weigh in at ~10k lbs evenly distributed (49/51) over the front and rear. The springs resulted in 3" of lift which was much higher than I expected. The kit was complete and the instructions were thorough. I have a whopping 25 miles on the new...

Fuso Land Speed Record (not!) and blue sky pic of the Teton Range

Took the 2004 Fuso FG Expo Rig down to the Tetons on Friday. Teton Pass linking Wilson WY to Victor ID has many sections that are 10% grade. We were able to maintain 25 mph on the uphill in 3rd gear & 3000 RPM and 25 mph on the downhill in 3rd gear with the engine brake. Going to 4th on the...

    Steering Stabilizer for 2004 FG?

Dan, Thanks for the feedback. I am taking it in to have the two fronts rebalanced. I don't recall this shaking when I had the stock wheels/tires, but the stock setup was jarring the fillings out of my teeth at each crack in the road. I am also going to install the parabolic suspension from ATW...

    FG's in Action

Frank, I just realized that Earthcruiser (EC)posted the pics my rig. I recall them asking if they could post some pics, but overlooked the post. The wheel/tire upgrade from EC has been phenomenal! I am using the Goodyear Duratrac 315's and they do really well in snow/ice covered roads. They...

    Steering Stabilizer for 2004 FG?

SkiFreak - that coil over suspension is awesome. I think the consensus is that I have to fab some brackets. While I was hoping for a bolt on solution, the brackets are relatively easy to create. I think I am going to follow Stu's lead. Thanks all for your input. tnx dave

    Steering Stabilizer for 2004 FG?

Stu - That looks like a good approach. I was hoping to find a factory install, without any custom fab. I may end up copying your idea. tnx dave

    Steering Stabilizer for 2004 FG?

John, I never experienced a wobble with the factory wheels/tires. At 55 mph, it shakes hard then settles down around 60 mph. I assumed that a steering stabilizer would help with the larger tires. Also, the stabilizer will help off road by reducing the whipping of the steering wheel. tnx dave

    Steering Stabilizer for 2004 FG?

I bought FusoFGs 2004 and have been slowly making minor improvements and modifications. I have converted to the aluminum super singles from Earthcruiser and have a set of parabolics on order from ATW. I am looking for some guidance on the steering stabilizer. Does any have a recommendation for a...

    Wallas 95DU Diesel Stove

I recently bought a 2004 Fuso FG with a camper and the original owner installed this stove in 2005. I have upgrade my Wallas stove with the new version which has altitude control. This stove was recently serviced and not used since. All you need it DC power (the connector is on the unit) and a...

Insurance question for those with FG Campers?

My 2004 FG "motorhome" is registered in MT as an RV and insured through Progressive. No questions about height, although 12' is getting kind of tall :)

    Engine swap

@Flyslo - can you give us some product and part numbers for your recommendation? I am 100% aligned with MAB; I have a 2004 FG 649 and it would be absolutely welcomed to find a way to increase power without risking the reliability.

    FUSO Suspension Help

Ken, Have you resolved the drivability? I am getting ready to purchase ATW 19.5's for the same year Fuso and want to understand if I am in for a similar experience. Also do you know what the stock front track was prior to the super singles and what it is after? I am trying to figure out how...

2004 Fuso FG camper listing? Sold? Scam? Gone?

Expo'ers, This was not a scam. I bought FusoFG's rig as I made my move to downsize from a 6 seater Ram5500 with a custom flatbed camper and super singles. We had just decided to get a smaller rig when this one was advertised. I bought it sight unseen and drove it 2000 miles from near Atlanta to...

**SOLD Ram 5500 Flatbed Camper - new pics interior **Price Dropped** & May sell parts

@adam - the forum members should thank you. I have reassessed my sales strategy and am dropping the price to $80K. I am a motivated sell. In addition, I am willing to consider the sale of the camper, wheels and tires, and custom spare tire carrier. I will sell the wheels and tires only after...

**SOLD Ram 5500 Flatbed Camper - new pics interior **Price Dropped** & May sell parts

@adam88 - Yes 86K is a lot of money and far less than I invested in this; the price has some flexibility. However, I may be interested in selling the camper/flatbed. I sent you a PM. Let's chat later today. By the way, the truck is in Livingston, MT...little closer than CO.

I just don't get out enough to justify this rig. I live in MT, have an office in VA and work in Latin America. My vacationing is very limited.

**SOLD Ram 5500 Flatbed Camper - new pics interior **Price Dropped** & May sell parts

I check with Northstar before attempting it and it turns out that the hole for the A/C is exactly the size of a standard roof vent. So I get a little more light and more ventilation when needed, and less weight on the lid (not that it really matters)
