    show me your flex

Its a smittybuilt light bar. It was only attached at two points at the bottom stock so I added two more tabs on the main bar to attach it to the bumper too. The lights used to bounce around and drive me insane but now they're rock solid :)

89 Isuzu Trooper Expedition Build Suggestions

Front lockers are generally not good ideas on IFS vehicles. It puts undue stress on the CVs and makes them go pop. Autolockers are especially bad in the front as they make it almost impossible to turn. If you don't want to go rock crawling and just stick to moderate trails like you said, a...

I'm jealous of you guys. I don't know anywhere close enough to my current house to make a nice day trip worthwhile.

Post your most recent Handmade Mod

I "modified" the CD player my truck came with to use it as a place for my HAM radio. I also made a Hi-Lift mount and a shovel mount out of Yakima bar mounts and some longer carriage bolts.

Tire Size + Gearing Debate Time

I've got a 22R backed with a 5-speed. Currently I have All-Pro sliders and plan on getting the Marlin rear bumper at some point along with some sort of tube-ish front bumper and a Budbuilt cross member.

    CYi5's '99 4Runner Buildup

Exactly, the Luxo-Cruiser needs more bling. Maybe a chromed snorkle would set it off

Tire Size + Gearing Debate Time

I have an 87 4x4 pickup with OME suspension, ball joint spacers and an Aussie Locker. Currently I'm on 31s with stock gearing (4.10s). I have 4.56s sitting in my garage that I got a good deal on but haven't installed yet. I also have a set of 16" tacoma rims waiting for tires. I planned on...

    Another New 4Runner (autumn metallic)

I'm pretty sure you'll want to regear for those tires. I think 4.88s or 4.56s are what you want.

Any cooling system upgrade for the 22-re and a couple other questions?

I'll second that. An oil cooler will pull some heat out of the engine and you can relocate the oil filter to a easily accessible area. If you go this route, be sure to get a set up with a thermostat, you don't want to cool the oil too much.

    Australia Toyota Purchase Opinions

You should grab me a diesel swap while you're over there. This may be sorta blasphemous here but I'm a big fan of the Nissan Patrols...

    Stock Tacoma 16"x7" Wheels - $200

I have a set of wheels from a 2001-2004 Tacoma for sale. Wheels are all straight with not bends. Some minor scrapes on the face of two of the wheels. The white stuff seen on a couple of the wheels is spackle from when the garage ceiling got redone, it comes right off. I would also be willing...
