Be careful using seam seal on the webbing. Seam seal will work well on the webbing material but the fabric uses waxes to waterproof it. If there are any solvents in the seal seal it may degrade the waterproof qualities of the fabric in that area. Try rubbing the area with bees wax first to see...
The Tacoma arrived with the bed on heavy duty OME suspension and a front bumper. AT removed the bed and fitted the flat tray, removed the rear bumper, manufactured a new rear bumper, installed new rear lights, and re located the rear camera. Installed an air bag kit to the rear suspension...
Fuel cans and holders do not stick out past the camper body on the sides, you may be confusing the brackets on the side used to attach the lifting jacks.
Mark, cupping is usually caused by bad struts or shocks. Alignment issues usually result in uneven ware across the tire, for example worn on the outside rather than the inside. If the problem exhibited itself after you did the Icon instal I would suspect a defect in one or both of the shocks...
We have seen weeping where webbing has been sewn into the seam to anchor the net loops. The webbing has different characteristics from the tent material and water is finding it's way through the webbing fibers. Seal seal on the webbing takes care of this.
We are seeing some problems with water...
Nick, there are a series of videos covering on board air on our website I shot the videos with George from Extreme Out. It should give you some ideas.
It would be helpful if I knew:
What vehicle you have?
What size are the tires?
When you say some air tool use, what do you mean by that?
It's going to be difficult to pin point what is going on if you don't have a wiring diagram or a good understanding of the wiring. Could well be everything has it's own ground, which personally I think is the way to go.
I always look at grounds first if there is something strange going on with...
Sounds like you have bad grounds on the circuits that don't work.
When the camper is plugged into the vehicle the vehicle is providing the ground for the electrical system. When you are running off the in house batteries the camper is providing the ground.
Shouldn't be too hard to test the...
I totally understand. There are times you can bend the rules to fit your needs, but in this case it won't work. I know I tried it with this design and it didn't work. For something the size of a shoe box it's quite sophisticated.
To mount this unit safely stick with the minimum distance for locating the exhaust and air intakes.
The length of the air intake is critical as full combustion of the propane relies on a turbulent air flow. The turbulence is provided by the ribs on the inside of the air tube.
If you deviate...
See my video at the bottom of this page http://www.adventuretrailers.com/tirevideo.html it is an emergency repair only. As most people have said the tire can not be repaired to be roadworthy.
Wade, I'd have to think it was reasonable to assume that any water coming from the hinge area would be associated with the hinge issue we are working on with you.
Regarding the tent taughtness, as the tent is secured to the shell on four sides the only way to adjust the tightness is by...
While the weight of the rack may be super light you have the multiplication factor of the distance the rack is from the hinge. The leverage factor on the hinge and torsion bar is a combination of mass times distance. The hinges are much less likely to be damaged than the torsion bar as it is...
Yes, that's correct, I think the Trademark is classified under 012 which is Automobiles and Vehicles. Within the 012 classification there are numerous sub-sections. AT's little part of the pie is Trailers.
When you own trademarks, patents, and copyrights it is up to you as the owner to protect them.
If you fail to protect them from use by others you lose your intellectual property as it the public domain.
This can place the owners of intellectual property and their agents in the difficult...
I'd have to agree with you on this. Torsion axles provide a very harsh ride off road even when they are de-rated. If they do fail there is no in field repair for the axle other than welding in a gusset.
I'm not trying to bait "Aspen Trails" into a confrontation over this, he obviously believes...
Drilling through the rear wall panel above the hatch back shouldn't be a problem. You will be drilling into a cavity so you'll have to attach to it using an insert or pop rivets. Make sure you seal the area with silicon or neoprene to avoid water entering the cavity.
The rust you are seeing...
I had similar issues. Fuses OK, LED light on at plug.
Switched out the cable and it worked.
I'd pinched the 12 volt cable in my fridge slide and damaged the copper wire inside the outer sheathing.
