Is that an off-road version floor jack mounted on the side of your truck above the fire extinguisher? If so, can you give me some details about it please? I'm looking for something to use with the Ambo/Camper Trailer that you see in my avatar.
Thanks for the link! If you're happy with the ones you have, I'll go ahead and order a set of them for my truck.
I tried a set of LEDs a couple of years ago with the existing housings, but they were crap. You can't just take LED bulbs and stick them in housings with reflectors and optics that...
Nice!! That shell matches so well, I thought that was an Excursion at first.
Are those new headlights Halogen or something else, and where did you get them, if I may ask? Mine on my 2004 F250 are going bad and I need to replace them.
Gabe,
CO2 expands 450:1, so get you one or two of those CO2 cylinders like the ones they use to pressurize drink dispensers in bars and restaurants, stick a regulator on it along with a hose and tire chuck, and you're in business. As long as you keep the bottle upright, you will only get the...
Bevan, thank you for posting that information.
This is the Magnum Dimensions 2000W MagnaSine Inverter/Charger/Solar Controller system I'll be using. I've debating whether to install it inside somewhere (?) to protect it more from the weather (salt air in my area), or put it in an external...
I see the problem now. What you need is something like this boat lift we used to lift my Ambulance body off of the flatbed trailer when it got here. We ran the 3" straps longways under the body after removing the front and rear lower panels, so they wouldn't damage the sides where the straps...
Are you talking about the little trailer you flipped the axle on, or that long one in the picture? Either way a forklift with fork extensions would probably work OK, if you have access to one. Otherwise, I would suggest a couple of overhead supports of some sort and four big come-a-longs.
Welcome to Expo Kleaton!
About nine months ago I discovered your website and went all through it. I loved the products you offer and contacted you on Facebook, I believe it was, to see if you shipped to the USA but you told me no, not at that time. So, I hope you do open a distributor here in...
No, I don't own one like that long box, just the 80's model short box you see in the picture I posted. Apparently, Yakima has gone to a newer clamping system. What I have is just a set of u-bolts that go around the round bars and up through the bottom of the box. Then a steel backing plate...
If your case is sliding from side to side, then you need to tighten up the thumb nuts on the u-bolts that attach it to the round bars. If they aren't pretty tight to start with, they will loosed up on their own due to road vibration. Another trick is to put a couple of wraps of Friction or...
This is a Yakima 'Space Case', which I purchased in the mid 80's sometime for about $350.00. It has been on five different trucks, and is on the F250 you see in the picture below right now. I have used it on hundreds of camping trips and it has never allowed a drop of rain to enter it. The...
Since my rig is a F250 4x4 tow vehicle and trailer format, I'm getting ready to mount a 12,000 lb. winch with wireless remote control on the front of the vehicle, and I also have a 9,000 lb. winch mounted in a portable cradle. I will have a plug-in on the rear of the truck so it can be used...
