My understanding is that several people have placed orders but no one has actually received them yet. I took a close look at the sliders they built for the Trek Discovery 5 vehicles and they look very stout. I'm asking if they have an anticipated shipping date if I place an order this week.

So are the Lucky8 rock sliders available yet? I have the 5'2" wife convinced that we need them to give her a step so she can get in and out of the new Defender easily.

I've known several people that have had pretty major crashes in the various generations of Discoverys and they have always performed well in crashes (especially rollovers). I'm very confident the new generation of D5 and Defender will be pretty safe if things go badly.

Yeah that really sucked, so now it's replacement is due around the first of October. I decided to delete the sunroof on the second try as I realize how little I use the one in the D5. The roughsawn ash looked very artificial and much lighter in color than it looks on the configurator too.
