We just replaced the entire electrical system in our FWC Hawk UTE w/ Victron and Battleborn Batteries equipment, which necessitated the removal of the Xantrex Freedom X 2000 inverter and remote control panel. The unit is approximately two years old and in perfect working condition.

I've done some photography work for Supertramp and had the luck to see the original, beta version as well as the new production model. In my opinion, the Supertramp is the best camper on the market, hands down. The attention to detail, the build quality and the thought they've put into every...
I'm a Ford fan although I do love the looks of the Ram HD trucks. Anyway, it hasn't been mentioned but it seems to me (I could be wrong) that there is more aftermarket support for the Ram platform. That, and AEV has done an extraordinary job of marketing their upgrade packages to the Ram market...
Over Spring Break my family and I headed south in search of warmer weather, sunshine and mountain biking trails. We found all of it in Sedona and Phoenix, plus an insane wildflower bloom in the Superstition Mountains. A couple days before we left I had a set of Toyo Open Country R/T Trails...
We're back home after two weeks in Arizona with mostly gorgeous weather. We camped in the McDowells and Superstitions, where recent rains left the entire area a muddy mess. Not looking forward to washing all the mud off the truck and out of all the flatbed nooks and crannies. While in Arizona we...
The factory halogen headlights are worse than the headlights on my first vehicle, a 1988 Suzuki Samurai. Okay, maybe not but they are truly abysmal. I'll upgrade to a set of Morimoto's at some point. The seats are large and okay-ish but certainly not well bolstered or ergonomic. I'm not...
Thanks! We've got around 27,000 miles on it with zero issues. The FWC has had a couple minor issues - one we're sorting out now - but nothing crazy. The truck has been bulletproof thus far and we certainly haven't baby'd it.
We took our annual Thanksgiving trip to Sedona and while the weather wasn't as warm as it's been in past years, it wasn't awful. We even enjoyed a couple outrageous sunsets, including one on our first night at camp. We got a late start on the day we left so we only drove for a couple of hours...
I've got five issues of Overland Journal that have been collecting dust on my shelf and I'd like to send them to someone who will read/appreciate them. They're in very good condition but because I did thumb through them when each issue was delivered, they're not perfect.

A little over a year ago I got a Garmin Montana 750i as I envisioned using it on our travels for both the GPS and InReach functionality. I took it on a couple of hikes, then stored it in the center console of my truck. I pulled it out a handful of times to use the GPS but...
We snuck in one more trip before winter got its frosty hands on the San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado. We'd planned to spend four days and nights exploring, camping and mountain biking but with the storm rolling in sometime Saturday night we decided to pack it in and head home. Even so, we...
