I had the crew at Boulder Vehicle Outfitters do the Propex heater install. I'd have to take off the front or rear panel to take photos and unless I need to remove those panels, I'm not keen on doing so. Matt at BVO told me they had to fab up a couple mounts, though. The unit did mount in the...
Good point. I did, because I knew we'd be charging camper batteries while driving and that I'd be installing a bunch of aftermarket parts that would require extra power. And, it was super affordable so really no reason not to add it.
Hey folks! Earlier this year I bought a 2021 F250 Tremor on which to install a Norweld tray and FWC Hawk UTE. I did so knowing that I would be replacing the factory suspension, wheels and tires. I'm often asked why I bought a Tremor only to replace those items. Since it's such a common question...
I got mine earlier this year so I assume the price has increased because of the increase in cost of materials. Regardless, this is my second set of Alcan springs. Both have been top notch and their service is outstanding.
I have a 2021 F250 with a flatbed and FWC Hawk UTE on it. Fully loaded, we're around 11,000 pounds. The stock leaf springs handled the weight okay but the ride was terrible. I replaced them with a custom set of Alcan leaf springs (and Carli Pintop suspension) and the difference in ride quality...
We have a plastic bin that lives under the dinette and our wet/muddy shoes go in there. We usually shake out our jackets outside to remove the surface water and then hang them up from the bungee cords that stretch from one soft wall to the other. Probably not optimal but works for us.
We're on our second Four Wheel Camper, this one a 2021 Hawk UTE and the first one a Raven. Combined, we have over 160 nights in these campers and somewhere north of 45,000 miles. We're a family of three, plus an adventure Pug, who mountain bike and hike during our travels. I've taken the time to...
Sedona's pretty amazing, even when it's packed full of tourists. I'd like to visit in the spring sometime when wildflowers are blooming and the trees are green.
We spent a week in Sedona over Thanksgiving and during that time we hiked or mountain biked every day, often exploring well off the beaten path to access Sinagua ruins, a number of caves and an arch with a particularly spectacular view. There was much bushwhacking, more than a few cactus...
Love Gooseberry and Wire Mesa. Also enjoy all the trails over in the Santa Clara area.
I shoot with a Sony A7III and 24-105mm lens, although I just bought the Sigma 14-24 f/2.8 and initial impressions are very, very good. Build quality is outstanding and image quality seems to be top notch...
We spent the last four days mountain biking and exploring around St. George, Utah. We've ridden there multiple times but decided to try a new trail one day and hit up an old favorite the next. The new trail was...janky. We love technical riding but this one just wasn't that much fun. There were...
