    MG Metalworks Van Build

I seem to remember MG saying that he used a hoodliner type deadener for the doghouse. The Lizard Skin went on the underneath side of the van body. Oh, and the drivetrain looks so **************' in the cleaned up frame... ;)

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

That's not a bad idea! And if it wasn't already awesome enough, I found the maintenance records in the glovebox going back to the beginning. No worries about an ill-maintained 4.7 liter...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Thx guys! If you look over my other builds, it'll be apparent that I have no problem spending the $$$ to do it right the first time. However, I am trying to break the habit of building rigs that I then sell because they don't get used much. I am leaning toward mild... OME lift with JKS arms...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

New to me '04 WJ Laredo 4.7 QT2 with 44,500 original miles: Changed the spark plugs, new air filter and general inspection. I know it won't last, but I really enjoy laying under this rig and admiring its condition. So nice not having dirt fall into my eyes and ears. Will make it super easy...

    Exploring topless

I think you have to get in the mind frame of a pickup truck owner rather than an SUV owner when you go soft top only. Permanent storage with security measures would be key for me. Minimizing easily snatched valuables in the cabin using quick disconnects for CB's, NAV, etc... And don't forget...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Removed the factory pinstripes, because the only pinstripes that belong on a Jeep should come from nature. Rolled around under the WJ today taking stock of the condition. I wouldn't be surprised if the previous owner did not drive this vehicle in foul weather. It's just so clean!

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Lol! Standard issue Jeep equipment, right? I'm just excited to get back out there. Seems like Jeeps have always inspired me to go use them. 3 trips to Moab in my old XJ: 1 trip in my Wife's old TJ:

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

My new acquisition: 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a 4.7 liter V-8. One owner with 44,000 original miles. This rig is squeaky clean! I'm excited to be back in a Jeep. Clean! Roc approves...

My latest Eurovan build "Snap Dragon"

I think I've said it before, but the CaveVan logo/brand name is brilliant. Maybe the most clever I've seen.

What would you buy for $40k?

OP, If I lived that close to UJOR, I'd be there everyday at 5pm... As far as mpg's go, my experience with a lifted E350 is that there is a line at 68-70 mph that when you push past, it doesn't matter what motor you have, wind resistance is what affects your mileage. The first trip in my van...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

Doc, I am almost certain that the front axle under that will not work with a UJOR conversion. The De-Quig conversions Chris does (I realize this is not a Quig) are dependent on the front axle that Quigley used in the first place. For most, the front axle is the biggest cost associated with a...
