I'm curious about this one!

I've always thought a hand crank headlamp could be a useful design.
That Easton EXP bare is really great compared to the stock bar. The stock bar vibrated so much you could not see straight out of the mirrors and it caused a great deal of fatigue on hands and arms.
The EXP tapered aluminum absorbs a lot of that vibration, even to the point I can read the GPS...
Most recently I finally figured out what I believe will be the solution for carrying extra water and fuel on extended remote rides and trips.
The NX and several bikes have no fuel guage to let you know how much gas is left in the tank. This requires careful monitoring of your odometer based...
Wow,
This thread has not been updated since November of last year!
I have owned my NX650 for less than one year and have already put about 5,000 miles on it! :bike_rider:
In that time it has received:
- New handlebars
- Hand guards
- New chain
- New sprockets F/R
- New clutch cable
- New...
Hi Steven,
I have had the Toyo Open Country AT tires on my 2001 DII for almost two years now. An exceptional tire in my regard, They have needed very little balancing, good grip on the trail and long lasting durability.
If you will be doing a majority of street driving and in the dry southwest...
If you decide to hard wire it keep in mind that there is a rubber grommet passing through the firewall just under the glove box. It's perfect for wires and can accommodate a few more than are already occupying its space.
Brian
I recommend running a larger guage set of wires direct up to the power source. Either direct to the battery or a power block connected to the battery.
The 12V plug in the back of the DII has small wires and although it will power your fridge it most likely will not provide enough power to allow...
Testimonial!
This DR200 is a great bike.
I had the pleasure of riding behind and along side it from AZ into northnern Baja and I can attest that this bike is a trooper! :bike_rider:
It's fast enough to get you where you want to go on blacktop, easy for wide dirt roads and two-track and its...

Asfir is making a few protection plates for the LR3 and may have a bumper int he works as they are constatnly developing new products.
It would be worth giving them a call as they just oppened an office in Scottsdale AZ and are beginning...
Thanks
The frame is a Trek 7000 ZX.
Aluminum from around 1992.
I think it is a 16 or 17 inch frame.
I just know it is small for me at six feet tall but when I built it it was for narrow east coast wooded single track, small frame, narrow bars....:bike_rider:
I'll see if I can get some...
Ok so that idea may not work to well.
How about rebuilding the Mag 21 with bushings or springs. Canthat be done? Or am I better off getting a more modern set of shox?
Well the front fork on my 26er mountain bike is finally on its last leg.
The fork is an old Rock Shox M21 Air/Oil system that they don't eve have parts for anymore. Perhaps it could be rebuilt but every time I have talked to a bike shop about it, and I even talked to RS about it once, everyone...
I like these LED cluster lights from Rigid for such an application.
They were originally designed as a dome light but they can be applied anywhere. They are less than $50 each and they may sell them for less withougt the billet mounting plate...
Good call on the rotoflex Rob, I had completely forgot.
I've replaced mine once and even carry a spare in the truck.
As for the CDL and TC, the TC will work with the CDL engaged.
Or, at least here is how it works on my 2001.
With the engine running the CDL can be engaged and the Traction...
Hi David:
Here is a list of a few thinkgs, note that some may be more involved than others:
-Does the seller have maintenance records, even if DIY.
-Was the vehicle used offroad?
- Check the Ujoints on the driveshafts, they usually need to be replaced between 60-80K miles.
- Make sure the...
