Experience with 235/85R16 on Gen 3?

Gen 3 has a very rigid monocoque chassis. There were extremely different noise levels when I swapped the same set of tires between my Gen 3 and Gen 2 (BOF - chassis) YMMV

Experience with 235/85R16 on Gen 3?

Although I have no experience with the ST Maxx - I'm willing to bet they will be really loud (interior noise) on the Gen 3. I removed 265/75R17 Falken Wild Peaks from our Gen 3 which were unbearable loud on highway road trips on the '05. Put them on the '92 and were super silent. The Gen 3...

Experience with 235/85R16 on Gen 3?

On road squirmy / squirrel-ly I'd call it. Definitely not firmly planted like with the 265s that were replaced. Awesome in snow thou.

Experience with 235/85R16 on Gen 3?

I have 235/85R16 on my '05. Won't repeat. 255 would be better but difficult to find in A/T - so next set will be back to 265

What did you do to your Mitsubishi today?

IIRC the "factory" fog lights are actually dealer installed (they were Bosch units on my '93 SR) Fuse on mine was under the dash in-line sorta near the switch. I removed them and now use the switch for the IPFs on my ARB. Added all new wiring, a relay / fuse bank in the engine compartment...

    Low voltage disconnect help.

Look into the: Automatic Power Off (APO3) - it has adjustable voltage shut-off points 11.8, 12.1, 12.7, 13.05 VDC - also about $60 on Amazon, down side is that it can only take a 20 amp draw - but that is probably way more than enough for your electric blanket. http://www.aprsworld.com/apo3/

    Gen III real world MPGs?

'05 235/85R16 all else stock. T6 Synth in the engine and Redline in differentials. Highway 16 to 19 - depends on driver, terrain and speed as long as a major brand fuel is used - 87 octane. Premium doesn't show any difference tried it several times - not worth the money (my area of the...
