I have extended bump stops if that's what you mean. But they're probably 4" taller than oem tires

Need new tired for my Jeep Liberty CRD

I just installed 31" bfg k02 on my xj. I can't say much for longevity at this point. Traction is great. They balanced really well, I was surprised, I didn't use more then 1.5oz on each side of the wheel. Some road noise, nothing like mud tires, and they roll smooth. Did I mention they look bad ***?

ARB air locker disengages when shifting into reverse...

Also, is the compressor wired through a relay? If you're pulling power from a existing circuit running through a switch then power to the compressor you are over loading that circuit. It will blow fuses or melt wires could cause fire. I'd pull power from a source like dome or radio, run that to...

    Mtbxj87's 1989 XJ

Well, I have some down time so thought I'd think up a list of little things I've done through the years of loving the old girl. (Not in actual order) - water pump, coolant bottle, all heater hoses, radiator and rad hoses, double clamped on the rad hoses. - power steering pump, return lines...

    Mtbxj87's 1989 XJ

Full lock to the right a little. I might need to fine tune my trac bar. In theory I shouldn't rub fenders cause I already installed longer bumpstops. I'll find out tho!

    Mtbxj87's 1989 XJ

Pulled the half shafts out of the zj. I probably won't have time to put new u joints and install them on my xj for a couple weeks tho. The holiday will take up some time.

    Mtbxj87's 1989 XJ

So today I scored a 97 ZJ for free!! I really didn't want it but it has the front axle shafts I've been looking for. I can get rid of the front disco on mine plus I'll have the bigger u joints. Also the ZJs front drive shaft will work either front or rear on my xj (so now I'll have 2 spares) I...

99 Jeep XJ Intro and expedition "build" attempt! Plus some restoration.

If you go back to the JY get the crossmember it will have the nutserts. ace hardware has nutserts you can use for the frame side. Leafs will sag more then coils. but its up to you. I would get the v8 steering from that zj. The tie rods are much stronger than the xjs. Great upgrade. the drag...

No need to cut a hole for the pump. It's right there in front of the tank. Take a look behind your differential. 97+ you have to drop the tank

yes. v8 Zj coils will give you about 1.5". Also I don't know about the newer xjs but mine didn't have any threaded holes to mount the t case skid. I had to add Nutserts.

You might look into v8 ZJ progressive coils. Moog makes them. I think I paid 65 for the set new. Or PAC springs are less than 100 from jegs
