Blinking Lights Between 2WD and 4WDH

I had a similar problem, but with my center diff staying locked, which made for some interesting driving until I called the dealer, I had already tried backing up a few times, but apparently I hadn't gone far enough, and he told me to drive in reverse about 100 feet, and sure enough that popped...

    Montero exterior plastic trim removal

I was hoping to paint my Monty this summer also before classes start up late August, but with a camping trip next week, and another week up in the Sierra Nevada's late August the week before school starts for archery deer season, I don't know if I'll have the time or money....so until I figure...

    Lake Brittany or bust.....

Nice writeup, thanks for sharing! I'm curious about the holes/bumps, it would be funny if they were man made just to keep people out...

RichardT's 95 Montero SR Build Thread

GoLight install A few more pictures showing the finished job, and a couple showing the light working at night, but to be honest, the pics don't do it justice, it's an awesome light. I plan on buying the floodlight lens they have for it as well, so that I can switch it from a spot to a flood...

RichardT's 95 Montero SR Build Thread

GoLight install Hey everyone, I just ordered and installed a new GoLight 2021 on my truck, and wanted to share some pics I took doing the install, in case anyone decides to tackle a similar project in the future. One of the big annoyances was loosening the front of the headliner, not that...

    Dual battery setup?

Wow, that's so cool and well thought out, it's almost scary, though a little complicated for me I think (especially because I won't have any need to switch it between vehicles). Still you had some good explanations in your vid that will be helpful I think, thank you for sharing :) Just curious...

How to make a cheap isolated dual-battery setup for $50

Thanks for that tip, I didn't know that anyone made something like that. So, would my diagram how I described and pictured work? especially with the inclusion of the Duo? Meaning keeping the engine battery completely isolated from the house battery, but still able to receive a charge from the...

    Dual battery setup?

I was hoping to be able to charge both with the panel, that way in case I run my primary down a bit somehow, it'll keep charged, but the primary reason for the solar panel, will be to hell trickle a charge to the secondary deep cycle/2nd battery. How could I isolate the primary? Wouldn't just...

    Dual battery setup?

The Goal zero is nice, but the price isn't.... Thats amazing how much time you got out of the battery, but also, as you mentioned, it's heavy, and a pain to move around, which is why I want to have a more permanent set up in the back when I do my storage system/sleeping platform.

    Dual battery setup?

That's precisely what I had in mind, though only one deep cycle hooked up for the accessories, and the regular battery under the hood isolated from the system except for being able to receive a charge from the solar controller I posted that on the other thread, it's what I'm hoping to do. I...

How to make a cheap isolated dual-battery setup for $50

I started up a thread on this, asking about a dual battery set-up on the Mitsubishi forum. Just finished reading through the last 6 pages, and wow, some awesome advice and info, though I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around some of it. I was hoping to set up my system so that when I'm...

    Dual battery setup?

I think I might go that route I'd like to be able to camp out somewhere for a week, be able to run some lights, small appliances like a coffee maker or something, and not have to turn on my truck to power up and charge my battery, which is why I want to get a nice deep cell, I was hoping to...

    Scrubber3's long overdue build thread

I agree 100%, that's one of the things that bugged me about my truck since I first bought it, the tan rocker panels, never been a two tone guy....
