The AEV rack is semi permanent and requires access to hidden brackets to remove the top. Regardless, I'd like to run a quick disconnect at the light. I found this deck seal that WIKid's Running on his Baka light system on his FJC. http://m.imgur.com/vXKH1Py...
Anyone running a light bar on their roof rack? I'm picking up a 40 inch light bar and mounting a u cradle bracket http://imgur.com/jcHbOK5 on the t slots on the front of my AEV roof rack. I didn't like the light brackets that rhino sells so I decided to modify the front rail on my AEV rack in...
Can anyone confirm if T slot brackets are compatible across makes? For example, can a frontrunner t slot bracket fit in another manufacturers rack with T slots? (AEV, in my case).
Frontrunner t slots with eye bolts are here:

Got it sorted out. The rack is back on and no leaks ....YET!
I called Dave @ AEV He sent me instructions on how to remove the rack but didn't disclose that It was designed to be a permanent fixture. The rub is that mopar designed the hard top to be removed. Hence the issue. Hell, the bolts to...
My dealer is sorting out the mess. Turns out that the AEV (rhino) rack was designed to be a permanent fixture to the top. Jeep designed the top to be removable. There lies the problem. Great rack if you never plan to remove your hard top.
Going to drop it off at my dealer tomorrow. Hopefully the tech can rectify the issue.
Wonder why Rhino racks don't have a quick detach setup for removing things. People want to take their hardtop off in the spring! It shouldn't be designed to be permanent fixture.
Anyone own an AEV rack?
I purchased a JK 350 with AEV Roof rack installed from AEV in March. I removed the rack and stored it in my garage so my jeep would fit inside the garage in the spring. I found out that the mounts on top of the roof leaked like mad water all down the roll bar and...
Great question. I took my wife tent camping at Stone mountain state park in NC mtns and she loved it. Took some advice from folks in this thread and picked a good weekend and planned out the meals, etc. We Have since bought a Conqueror Conquest and have spent only a few nights in it since we...
Interesting. I'm thinking of a dual Jeep/trailer setup. Curious if I can use this box and a group 31 for shore power 110v connection on my trailer to power fridge/LED's in my trailer and move it to my truck when not using the trailer.
31s look a lil too tight. I'm not going to cut the bottom corners so I'll probably go with 30's if I can find decent AT's that fit on 15 inch steelies.
Fridge is 12volt. I'll definitely get more juice off grid if I run the 6volts in parallel vs a group 31 battery.
Good point Bill - I keep wanting to do both. I was at Sams club this afternoon and was scratching my head trying to determine what BFG All Terrain size tire would be the best fit for the stock wheels. I think conqueror stock steel wheels are 15x 9.5?
They also have Deka (branded duracell) 6...
