    Ford 7.3L

Just released: 7.3l and pushrod. Who called that? Might not effect us much. Might be nice for gas drw's, and larger slide ins.

Budget, but brand new, Fullsize expo rig ideas.

Note that guys age and his preference for old square body trucks. We have a ton of heavy truck and ag guys as well. Same issues. Obsolete techs, are obsolete. It sucks getting old, and having to learn new equipment, without proper training or materials. Yeah, Godzilla should be a pushrod...

    1. Xl. Xl power power package, Fx4. The xlt and sxt are also fine. Just avoid the upper trims, adaptive steering, moonroofs, and such. I prefer the halogen lights as well. But the xlt has carpet usually. And the sxt lacks the center jumpseat that folds down into a giant arm rest...

    Opinions on truck/camper needed.

I don't want to jix it, but it's been perfectly reliable as well.

Budget, but brand new, Fullsize expo rig ideas.

The only vehicle I bought used, that I felt I got my moneys worth from, was an old 94 Yj. Then again, I used to crash it into things for fun, so it's hard to get an objective opinion. I don't want someone else's lemon, flood damaged truck, or anything off road, or expo oriented. Raptors...

Most affordable, fuel efficient 4x4 set up

I can't handle a rig that can't go the posted speed limit. 70-75mph isn't too much to ask for in the flat. And then slow down in the mountains if traffic is slow. That's why I avoid pathetically slow, giant campers. I jet down I-75, Ohio to Key West, often. My days of under equipped and...

Budget, but brand new, Fullsize expo rig ideas.

What's the most budget, but nice, complete setup, that you can think of? For beginners, etc. But something you can still grow with. Sorted, truck, mods, camp gear, recovery gear, I'm thinking: Ford F250/350 Super Duty, crewcab, shortbed, 6.2l, Xl+power equipment pack, Fx4, 3.73 or 4.30, e...

Can get a brand new CC truck everywhere for under $40 000. Just have to forego the chrome plated door handles.

Ram coming out with split tailgate?

Why not base it on the 2500 and have a Powerwagon version for a halo vehicle?

    (partially) new Tundra coming?

Hybrid might be viable when capacitors are more powerful and cheaper. Batteries suck. Hopefully it'll have a nicer frame, and dodge or Super Duty sized wheel wells. 35's stock, 37's with mild lift.

Ram coming out with split tailgate?

Caprice Classic tail gate. Haha those cars were bigger than fullsize trucks back then! Such abysmally bad gm garbage, that it was actually good. In it's own kinda way. Like a VW bus.

Spare Parts for 2012 Ram 3500 CTD

The newer dodges have something china about the front drive shaft. It seizes up, and the xfer case literally explodes, ripping out the wiring harness, and brake lines. No brakes, after your entire truck bunny hops off it's front shaft, at 70mph, kinda sucks. You'll have to google it for...

If I see one more set of scratch free, brand new Maxtracs...... At least run them over in the driveway or something before mounting them to your ride.

Spare Parts for 2012 Ram 3500 CTD

I'd do the free spin kit for sure, if I had chose a Dodge. I'm worried about the front shaft eating the xfer case more than hub wear. Starter Alternator If you have a camper, try to use a battery in it that'll fit under the hood if needed. Light bulbs for turn signals and such.

Wide vs. Narrow tire size for Truck Campers

I have Duratracs on 11 000# truck. They seem a bit soft at max inflation in the rear. Might be perfect for a DRW. I get them because they are the most aggressive I can get the company card to pay for. I liked Cooper STT's better, even in the snow. But $$$.

    Post your device mount pics

Got that ''distracted'' bit from HR at work. ''Do you want us to go back to paper map books?'' [''Yeah, those aren't distracting at all.''] My Garmin just came with a suction cup mount. I put it next to the rearview mirror.
