1996 4X4 Ford F350 Powerstroke ambulance fully converted. Low miles

Interior height is about 5’6. But in the extended entryway/shower pan it’s about 6’4. The only place beyond the entryway you’d ever be standing is at the sink and I just bend over. Honestly wouldn’t want it any taller (and I had a high roof van before this) because it already is a tight fit on...

Thanks! Wow. I am not sure how I missed that. I updated it. Yes it's 4x4. 4:10 w/ limited slip. Another "Selling point" I probably should mention is that it has a clean and clear title and is titled as a motorhome. So no having to deal with the infamous "DMV won't let me register...

    1997 7.3 F-350 4x4 Ambulance, 60k original miles, $38,000

Yeah I’m not planning on selling right now. Im hoping to wrap up the interior build in the next few weeks. I was making a point that even with the prices skyrocketing lately, I still see converted 4x4 Ambos going for less than that. But I hope he gets asking for it. Makes ours worth more...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

If I remember correctly wasn't yours a 2WD that needed a transmission? Even with the 2WD, you may have better luck if you fix the trans. Some people just aren't willing to take on a project that also need mechanical repairs, so you may attract a broader audience and get more $$$ if you invest in...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

Yeah when you look at what other 4x4 vans are going for 18k is super reasonable. In fact, non Ambo 7.3 4x4s were going for more than 18k even before prices shot up in the last 12 months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Insuring DIY Hardside Camper Build on chassis cab truck

I'm not having a hard time. It's currently insured as just a truck. However, I know that insurance companies will often look for ways to not cover an incident so rather than have an issue then have them say "well you didn't tell us this was a camper". I'd rather get it insured as what it is, but...

Insuring DIY Hardside Camper Build on chassis cab truck

I think you are right. They wouldn’t insure my van in Florida and not my house in Michigan. But I don’t think I ever checked on the truck in MI. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Insuring DIY Hardside Camper Build on chassis cab truck

I couldn't even get USAA to insure my regular truck. They don't like MI- the referred it out to Liberty Mutual.
