I'm killing batteries -- time to go LiFePo4?

I've always used 12.2v as a rule of thumb. But your battery's spec sheet should give you the manufacturer's answer.

I'm killing batteries -- time to go LiFePo4?

You'd easily maintain a 100w LiFePo4 battery with that from what you're describing. I'm maintaining mine with 200w. It even gets the battery there on cloudy days (all day). On a sunny day I'm full before lunch. ps -- my charge controller tells me in real time what the panels are producing...

I'm killing batteries -- time to go LiFePo4?

I went to a LiFePo4 battery over a year ago and will never go back to other types. I used to work for JCI back when they made batteries. I got batteries at employee prices so I didn't really take care of them; I'd typically run two 100ah Optima D31 Bluetops at a time and they'd croak after 2...

Counts as clothing, right? Pup Collars

A clasp of some sort for the excess length to tuck into. My pup cranes her neck down and chews that little bit that sticks out. Ours has a brass plate riveted to it with her name and two phone numbers. Very nice work, btw. want....

Jeep gives Wrangler 1.5" lift, 35" tires and 4.88 gears..

I'm 6'5", Dan, normal height. But it's not the height alone, per se. It's the ratios. My legs are a bit longer in proportion to my torso. So it comes down to how far back I have to place the seat to fit my legs while still being able to reach the steering wheel. Believe me I tried. When...

Switching my life to "not Jeans". Can I get some recomendations for good NON JEANS

I bought a pair of their 40-Grit lined pants that were on sale ---- sizing is always a crap-shoot with Duluth. But, for winter camping, they're my favorite now. They're a fairly light but fairly tough chino-ish weave with a synthetic lining. Went hiking with them, started in the low 20s and...

As if new Jeeps aren’t expensive enough….new legal ruling likely will increase standard MSRPs, will apply to other makes too

I'd much rather have the horse and buggy. I like horses. I only bought a motorcycle at first so I could go visit family. I lived in Florida and had family in VA, NJ, CO ---- would've taken too long to ride a horse there.

My experience exactly. Kia sent us an invite --- come test drive a Kia and get a $50 Amazon card. Sure, I'll bite. I drove their SUV thingie. I think it's a Telluride. Nice enough SUV, a bit under-powered, but the safety nannies were psychotic! It was making all sorts of distracting...
