The only reason I'd have an air compressor is to air up tires, or use an air nozzle. Cordless tools are much more versatile. If you've ever tried to change a wheels with a 12v compressor and 5 gallon tank, you could have done the whole vehicle with a 20V cordless gun. Angle grinder...

I had an SCT X3 on my 6.0PSD F350. Tried a few different tuners before found something I and the engine liked. Biggest problem now is support. Most tuners are now either retired or moved on to current iterations of the PSD.
