I met Keith the owner at the Adventure Van Expo and checked out this rig. It's well-cared for and was going to be his forever rig but he found one he liked a little better. (2006 Duramax).

It's basically pop-up tiger.
I also found this one linked below surfing looking for pics of Rossmonster Baja builds tonight. I do not like the rear steps and how they stow inside. This one feels like an earlier build the ones i seen today were more refined it seemed. The owners told me...
I seen the white Ford base in person at Adventure Van Expo in Evergreen, CO as well as the Rossmonster demo / show unit. I was pretty impressed. Not sure I want to put out that type of coin but it is pretty spiffy that they are 9' tall or less when in lowered position. You could store one of...
Good advice on the snow! I have kept the halogens on board the Tiger just in case! I did the amber fog lights after driving in a blinding spring snow in the Colorado eastern plains I think the low yellow light will help. I actually pointed the lights slightly downward to help reduce glare...
Nice setup. Do you have pics of the flatbed without the camper on? I would like to use this as a work truck not just for camping. The flatbed seems pretty high up and is there any sort of headache rack? Do you think it would work well?
So.... Finally I have completed this project. I did a high-end residential sheet vinyl from AHF. Approx $150 for a 12' x 6' piece (have lots extra for little projects). Part of the reason was to do sheet vinyl was the fridge in my Tiger is set very low there is not clearance for thicker...
So I thought I would give you guys an update. I stayed budget since our Tiger is not really our forever rig but more a starter and for me to learn these projects. Spent about $100 on Nilight stuff on Amazon Warehouse Deals (other peoples returns or damaged boxes). Spent about $40 on the...
Killer drive-train there. Over 10 years ago I had IDI 7.3 F350 flatbed farm truck with over 350k sold it to my hispanic masonry contractors and they still had it running a few years ago last time we spoke. Very reliable truck.
Awesome! Those will help the lady want it more! This is the exact bed we want. We might be too deep into some real estate deals/projects to move on it at this time but if we get a new heloc we are in process of we could be buyers.
Just curious, are you getting a different unit to replace...
Research longevity of 6.4 ford diesel. An engine is a minor cost for a Earthroamer however if you think about the overall cost of the Earthroamer - but also if you're going to do long trips to other countries reliability is key.
Here is the high end version

I also wonder about it's GVW. Snazzy fo sho.
My 2500HD tiger is close to GVW
I messaged the Toyota Bend Oregon guy on his last vehicle and he said he added air bags to help. Likely flying with no insurance not a big builder.

First one of these I've seen. Not for me but thought I'd show it off.
Had to do everything possible to keep gvw down :) I like the looks of this guys builds (check youtube for more) but know it's likely under-engineered at least put that on a tundra.
Expensive but I would say the #33 is a better value than the original listing of this post - as it has less miles and all the upgrades and maintenance done. Things here in Colorado Mountains are so expensive you couldn't buy a cabin without running water let alone a pot to piss in for $215k.
