So is a Baja model basically a 4x4 concourse? Or is there some other differences? I know the Baja's are quite rare to begin with.
Another box to check for me is side door model - did they still make it in 2005?
I liked the earthroamer that youtube family dude had in Canada better #28.

It took #28 a while to sell maybe because it was Canada or maybe the price $150k. Who knows what it went for in the end...
OK guys I wanted to give an update. I spent time on bulbfacts.com researched more and kept to the 'budget' column and ended up with also the Katana LED bulbs 9005 / 9006 (before even seeing these updated posts! - mentioning them specifically - so great minds think alike - also limited options...
I have been helping watch for a vintage toyota p/u for a friend. This one too far away but a sweet find. Proceed with caution not a lot of details in the ad might be a red flag.

Yeah really unfortunate story, I have flown to other states to look at vehicles and had issues with liars. I had vehicles that were so bad I didn't even make an offer. IT sucks. Everything happens for a reason and obviously this was not the vehicle for you even at $25k.
I won one vehicle...

I am looking at BD XL80 - might be more than I want to spend but I see BD has a good lifetime warranty which I like and I could move to our next overland vehicle.
Where did you mount them on Tiger? Ditch mount again? I heard on a podcast that mounting lower is better but not sure I...

I love Earthroamers but this one does seem a bit over priced but I'm not an expert. They may have paid that much for it new I guess they say trade-in value ? I like the extended cab, makes it a little smaller.
They say you have to be fast to catch a Tiger! We finally scored one with a wanted ad on Tiger forum, seller had not listed yet so I booked a flight a few days out and went and made a deal and we drove it home with a 5 day test drive using $100 of gear bought at Walmart (lots of sandwiches)...
