I have thought and researched heavily about getting a Chinook brand RV (want a side door is my main hold up) and if you read reviews everyone raves about the build quality. The latches could be upgraded for a small investment. The initial sale price on some of these units was in the 6...
As I hinted in my original post the rear overhang will probably effect the departure angle. I think this rig would do good in sand and snow but off-road trails may not be it's strength. Probably do a bit better than a standard class c 4x4 conversion. The build quality on Chinooks is very...
I like this more than a concourse because you get the side door but not sure how much the rear overhang will limit you getting back into those cool places.
Also wish the tank sizes were a little bigger.
Sweet overall checks a lot of my boxes...
This is more than a solid build it is an amazing build IMO. EL Yolo. If I was a little further in my real estate career I would go for it. I have been heavily inspired by this rig.
Here is the direct sellers thread...
We keep $5k+ of fat Ebikes out on our Tiger rear rack I don't lose any sleep they're just earthy possessions. I've had to stick the e-bikes in a lake bath after a bad muddy road a few times I know some bike purists would faint - I bought my ******** to use brother not pamper. I'd personally prefer...
I used to want an ER before I started realizing that smaller/shorter is better in Western US. Unless we're talking about penis size - than I need an ER - biggest one you can get because this is Merica.
That being said, I do dig some of the older first ER's. Especially maybe a single cab...
One of the forum rules is you cannot comment on price of listings but since you specifically ask for feedback here is my .02
I think this would be worth what you're asking if it were cleaned up and the to do list was done. As it sits I think $10k-$11k range would be more fair that project list...
Supposedly built on a ford 4x4 chassis might be a candidate for a 4x4 conversion that could be very one of a kind.
Fun to watch youtube video.

Seems like a nice build. Price is up there but I know these ambos are hard to find in first place.

Awesome rig. Enjoyed watching a well-traveled Tiger and couple you actually motivated my Tiger purchase. We are still working towards our full-time goal it's been a long road!
Are you guys hanging up the saddle or is another rig in store ?
I would call this the 'kid rock' of overland vehicles. We live a more modest lifestyle of saving and discretion but I can enjoy a kid rock song now and then:) Fun to see rig - thanks for posting!
Interesting build here. Price point seems fair for what you get. Might be too heavy for the 1500 ?

Custom Overland 4x4 Truck Camper
Explore places a van build can’t take you in this four-wheel...
It was $25k I believe.
I read this about why Element was discontinued
Honda came to the realization that it made a miscalculation by designing a niche vehicle and cut its losses after eight years of dwindling sales. And the automaker didn't anticipate that the Element's targeted buyers didn't...
Makes me feel good about what my Tiger maybe worth, but not for sale! I wish we had an oven for pizza sometimes :)
