There are 3.5 powered LS models, starting in '97 and maybe late '96 for the '97 year model. The trans will handle the power, this same transmission was used behind the V8 as well. You'll be fine.

Thanks! Just takes practice. I'm just an okay driver, guys like PA_JERO and Montypower have talent behind the wheel. Maybe I'll get there some day.

Actually the 3.5 MIVEC makes more power, not just the advertised 10-15 extra horsepower either. That 3.5 is an all aluminum race engine and it probably makes 300+ horsepower and the hint at this is the "276" horsepower. That's the magic number in 90's Japanese race cars which means it's far...
