The heavyweight firehose pants breath and wick ---- but not really in a good way. If it's hot out you'll overwhelm them.

Duluth makes tough pants and I own a couple pairs of the firehose pants because of that. But they don't know where to put the zipper for us athletic types. Annoying... But their lightweight dry-on-the-fly pants are the bomb. My favorite pants.

You should be good with 4.5" to 5.2" backpspacing. When they get to talking about offsets and whatnot, my eyes glaze over and I start to zone off.
