LED flashlights that use regular batteries or rechargeable? (early 2017 edition)

Dang you, SWITAWI. That Nitecore website is flashlight porn. I ordered an EA41... Jeez, I'm weak. It was only $26 with my Amazon points though. https://www.amazon.com/Nitecore-Flashlight-Searchlight-LumenTac-Diffuser/dp/B00OYKXTDW Palm-sized 1000+ lm flashlight that runs on AA batteries...

    Midland USA Supports Expedition Portal

Thanks, Midland. I have one... https://midlandusa.com/product/5001zcb-radio/ Blows away the Cobra that I used to have. The quality of the mic alone is worth the purchase. ~ $50 at Fry's from time to time.

Ozark Trail "High Performance" cooler - any good?

Is that handle thingy removable? It makes it look a little bulky... That's the problem I see with a wheeled approach. Dimensions. BJs has a thing like this on sale for $50 this month...

240 lm from a single AA? That is impressive. Compact and neat. Cheap too. Rare... ...discontinued.... :(

LED flashlights that use regular batteries or rechargeable? (early 2017 edition)

Costco by me keeps getting these crazy-bright cheapo Duracell flashlights. I have one that's 1000 lm and a couple of others. Like: https://www.costco.com/Duracell-2-pack-LED-700-Lumens-Flashlight-.product.100319990.html Add a quickfist to hold it and declare victory. This is the one I got at...

Ozark Trail "High Performance" cooler - any good?

Seems like a good addition. I'd think that, for our market, they'd need to be pretty robust wheels. The coolers are heavy, they'd be laden, and we go to some gnarly places. So the tires would have to be fairly big, strong, and it would need a sturdy handle. No namby-pamby kit for us; I'd want...

Ozark Trail "High Performance" cooler - any good?

Yeah, I get ya. Wouldn't it be cool (pun...) if they made some wheels or something for the higher end coolers? I don't need it for the way I use mine but guys that fish, etc. Handy.

Ozark Trail "High Performance" cooler - any good?

I've gotten very interested in California Innovations since Cam from that company joined our forum and helped us out. That showed me that they're aware of their demographic, care, are interested in input, and want to better the breed. They're not just around for the buck. I've also "met"...

Freeze dried hash browns - who else likes them?

Yeah, but the little Costco cartons make a great fire-starter later in the evening.

Need recommendation for camp kitchen utensil set

Me too. Yup. I've got two knives in there, a corkscrew/bottle opener, can opener, couple-a aluminum forks & spoons, flipper spatula, scraper spatula, a set of these (whatever the frick you call them, they're handy), and a big server spoon/ladle thingy. The rest of the Hilldweller cheap and...

I like the Safari Top on the Switchback and bedliner covered flooring. The doors are a bit stoopid for around here though. The Safari made me vomit in my mouth for some reason. I want the Quicksand for when, and I know it will happen, Batman calls me for help. I think could take Luminator...

Tac pant for men of substantial dimensions?

The heavyweight firehose pants breath and wick ---- but not really in a good way. If it's hot out you'll overwhelm them.

Tac pant for men of substantial dimensions?

Duluth makes tough pants and I own a couple pairs of the firehose pants because of that. But they don't know where to put the zipper for us athletic types. Annoying... But their lightweight dry-on-the-fly pants are the bomb. My favorite pants.

    Wheel Terminology Questions.

You should be good with 4.5" to 5.2" backpspacing. When they get to talking about offsets and whatnot, my eyes glaze over and I start to zone off.
