If someone has no choice, You are way better off just removing your hitch , and using the hitch pin only thru the snatch strap loop. What a sad accident.
I am. By the time it comes on, the oil is so past due, its not even funny. I have customers coming in with the light on, and they are 2-3 qts low. We see very few issues with eco-boosts that have the oil changed every 5k. We also see customers having a lot less issues with Phasers, chains etc...
It's hard to know for sure, because obviously, I only see vehicles with issues, but we see very few 5.0l issues, phaser replacement is rare for us, but again, look how many pepole just in this thread talk about never having turbo issues and we do them on a regular basis, non stop on diesels. The...
I run two Ford stores, so it makes it even worse, because I only see problems. What really had me change my mind was driving a 2022 with the 5.0l, it just drove better to me, and the 10spd is definitely better and smoother in the 5.0. I am sure that is due to how hard the turbos kick i, and the...
The 3.5 makes a ton of torque, no comparison, A 100ft more than the 5.0, that is a lot. The relation between the two are a funny thing. The 5.0l will never tow as easy as the 3.5.
I believe the cylinder deactivation is not going to be a issue. It deactivates all cylinders in a pattern stopping the cylinder wall temp problem that GM had which created oil ring issues. Time will tell for sure. It can be turned off with a tuner BTW.
I had ordered a 2022 F-150 Tremor that's due in next week. As soon as Ford announced the 5.0l in the Tremor I re-ordered first day. The 3.5 is a torque monster, but I just deal with too many issues every day on high milers, most are caused by lack of maint, But the 5.0l is just simple. Plus I...
If you are gretting 30 amps from your truck to your trailer, that is about as good as it gets. You could install a upgraded alt, but I dont think its worth it. A DC power alt may get you 40ish to your trailer.
Which outside cooking set up did you choose? Our S3 is being built right now, and I am at the last chance to make any changes. I question the two power burners a little
So, I am going to guess that you have a issue that is more than likely a power-train problem. The PCM is picking up a issue that is serious enough to throw the truck into limp mode, and when that happens, the stragey built into the PCM is to cancel Pre-Collision, and tow mode. I would get this...
Normally, if the camera has a issue, the system immediately disables this feature. I believe it will say collision avoidance not available, or something like that.
Can you turn down the sensitivity, there is three levels. I am sure it because how much the weight on the hitch cycles the front suspension. You can also disable it.
I think no matter what trailer you buy, you are going to do a handful of repairs, and upgrades. Look at the positive, you will learn all about your trailer build and become familiar with it. I ordered a Kimberley, and I bet that it will need a handful of items addressed.
Not involved at all. Icon is slammed like everyone right now. I am friends with a couple guy's at Icon. I will ask who the best contact is. King is also one that could make a set very easy. do you have the extended and compressed length?
