    The Original FlipPac Prototype?

I wish they would make a rooftop tent that works the same way.

    Question for LR3 owners

None of the Sears stores around here had a platinum in stock that would fit. I ended up going with a Gold gel cell with the same CCA's. So far my gauge cluster is staying where I put it, and all seems well.

    Question for LR3 owners

Sweet...thanks for the info. I kinda thought that might be it, but wanted to see if anybody else had similar experience. Looks like I'll get a new battery today!:wings:

    Question for LR3 owners

I have an 08 LR3 that I bought 1 year ago. As far as I know, it still has the original battery. I just returned from a 4500 mile trip to New England, where I began sporadically noticing the info section of the gauge cluster being reset when I started my truck. At first, it was usually in the...

    Finally Have My New Rubicon!

When I had my JK, I bought the "Hot Heads" headliner. I see there are a few more options now. They definitely made a difference. I also saw on JK-forum where several people painted the top portion of their hard tops white. If I still had mine, I would probably go that route. I'm sure the...

what did you do to your trailer today?

unpacked it, packed it, went inside to think about it, unpacked it again, re-arranged and packed it again. I'll probably do that at least two more times before I leave on July 1. I can't wait to go on vacation!!!

    On The Road/Trail Snacks?

Fresh cherries this time of year are a great choice. I'm also a fan of nuts...pistachios are great.

Project: Take it easy (08 Rubicon Unlimited)

You might want to consider re-locating the evap canister. Once it's moved you can re-locate your muffler, then put in an enlarged tub in the rear. You get about 3x the space. Good looking JK.

    Anybody using a Kelty Parthenon?

I looked at the Nemo tents, but none are tall enough to stand up.

    I'm a convert to Trasharoo!

Good to know! I love my Trasharoo. The one I have now is the tan color. It doesn't seem to be holding up nearly as well as the black one I had that either fell off or got stolen last summer. I'll see how it does on my trip to New England in a couple weeks.

    OzTent RV5 FOR SALE!!!

OK... I got a Kelty Parthenon, and I'm very pleased with the size, the weight, the quality, and the ease of setup/take-down. So, the RV5 is definitely for sale. This is a great tent, but it just won't work with my herd of labs.

    Pulsing trailer lights

What do you drive? My LED trailer lights do the same when my trailer is behind my LR3, my buddy's LR3, and my dad's Tundra. They did NOT flash, however, when I towed it behind my JK. I've checked out everything. There are no problems with any of the ground connections or the power supply...

Looking for info on purchasing my first land rover

I had an 08 Unlimited Rubicon...lots of fun, but CRAP for an engine. It had no power, and destroyed the tranny driving in the mountains and towing a very small offroad trailer. I sold it a year ago and bought an 08 LR3. I LOVE my Rover and don't regret it one bit!

The black and white thread (film or digital)

They're all un-touched. I took them with my Panasonic Lumix ZS3 in B&W mode. It was my first time to really mess with the camera very much. I'm very pleased with the results so far.

The black and white thread (film or digital)

Thanks. I noticed that when I posted it, but I'm not sure exactly how to do it. I'll toy around with it and see what I can do.

    I'm a convert to Trasharoo!

Anybody else having problems with the webbing getting sun damage? I'm on my second bag... My last one fell off last summer. Now, the webbing seems to be fading and disintegrating pretty rapidly.

    WHEEL BALANCING BEADS

I ran them in the tires on my JK and my trailer. They worked out really well. They were far better at balancing the tires than lead weights. I haven't had any problems keeping the wheels on my LR3 balanced, but when I get new tires, I'll probably use dynabeads again.
