    American rally landcruiser

The closest to Raid events we get here in the US is desert racing. This Lexus is a glammed up 200 series LC. http://www.autoblog.com/2011/03/15/this-is-the-coolest-lexus-lx-570-period/

Bailey's Snatch Block in Four Wheeler Magazine

so it is in the PDF catalog, but not on the website? And still no option to purchase. And how does the non round hole fit with the standard 3/4" shackle? it looks like it is perfect for chain, but how about for us non towing folk?

Removing mold/mildew from the *inside* of camper canvas

I know it can be killed with freezing. I read a publication that used dry ice pellets in a media blasting setup to remove mold from a roof structure. You could test a section with a keyboard cleaner (compressed CO2) turned upside down (sprays dry ice). You could blast the worst areas and...

Running the TAT in a 4x4

I started to go through you report on ADV, but the pictures seem to be nonexistent now. Is it just me or did the host go down or something? The TAT has been on my short list for a number of years now. I am definitely interested in a 4x4 traverse.

    Project Mini Hägglund

Interesting steering setup. I think you may run into some incredible stresses with a tracked vehicle. But I hope it works and I look forward to more updates!

iPad external aux battery? Need longer run times...

There are tons of these out there. I have one from Brookstone that will do 1.5 full charges on my iPhone. This one seems to have some good numbers for your ~18hr flight: http://www.hypershop.com/HyperJuice-Mini-7200mAh-iPad-iPhone-USB-Battery-p/hj72-blue.htm

sorry to derail, but you have mirrors that are 20 inches wide? and I would go All terrain on the FJ.
  17. Pedro

    LOOK WHO IS HOME :)

Width is listed as 86.5". The wheelbase is 130. Congrats on a beautiful FJ! There aren't may left here in the North East, definitely not in that condition.

    My 2003 GX470

I don't know the clearance on the hood opening for the delux bar, but my hood would hit if it was snugged up too much more.

    My 2003 GX470

You didn't read the manual my friend (1" gap from bumper to flare). When you start getting bumpy, you will rip that flare off. The Body of the truck moves quite a bit compared to the bumper and frame. I had to have a pretty large gap to keep things from touching. I am looking to make or...
