I have never had a problem carrying mine. And I haven't seen any adapters unless you are in business class traveling international.

I too am interested in the measurement and load rating. The Tuff Stuff extreme seems to be more normally rated and sized.

You didn't read the manual my friend (1" gap from bumper to flare). When you start getting bumpy, you will rip that flare off. The Body of the truck moves quite a bit compared to the bumper and frame. I had to have a pretty large gap to keep things from touching. I am looking to make or...
