The Grabbers i looked at were not that much larger then stock so those are probably safe. But it will be a good idea to take a good look under there to see what i could squeeze under there. Took a look under it today to see where the ice collects on it and seen that it will def be a good idea to...
I wish i could buy new...however thanks to a major disaster involving a local dealership involving a '14 Toyota Camry i bought brand new my credit is now seriously compromised. So sadly it will be used for me. Right now im giving a lot of thought debating if i even need the ability of the 4x4...
Def looks like it was a fun little unit. The Grabbers look quite good on there! What i am thinking with mine since i am doing the AT tire upgrade for gravel anyway is i may pick up a set of black steel wheels to run them on. Partly for durability and partly for more aggressive looks. I may see...
It was seeing your post in that thread about the fit mentioning your Ody is what inspired me to actually start a thread on mine, So any pics you can find of yours with that set up would be awesome!
Not exactly the most conventional of builds but none the less here we go. I bought this van to replace the '00 Chevy Astro that i had made a thread on here for in the past. For the longest time when i first got it i thought it was an interesting little mini van due to some of the features it had...
Heh after reading this thread it has me looking at my Odyssey in a new light. I have driven the Fits before but being 6'2 and a preference for stick shifts in small vehicles..don't go so well in a Fit with its cramped pedal area. Thanks for thinking outside the box and inspiring others to do the...
A buddy of mine had a Tracker that he turned into a truck by ditching the rear soft top section and just building a simple bulkhead out of plywood. Wasn't a bad little unit really. Each time i get reading about samurais i want one bad lol.
Nice! That will def help out later. Sorry about all the questions, I have liked the Patriots ever since they came out and now that they are getting to be more affordable i am looking at them more and more. So i am in research mode to learn as much as i can before committing to buying one or a...
Great build so far. Why not pick up a pair of the same style lights that are Stop/Tail/Turn type that way you get what you were trying to do...Unless of course these ones are already that type if so disregard the question.
Nice! Should have specified max tire height but the post below catches that.
Great info! Now can someone run a 15" rim on these or are they limited to 16" and larger? Reason i am asking is if 15"s can be fitted then 235/75R15s would work well and there is still a ton of tire selection in that...
So what is the max height these things can handle before the risk of suspension interference? My previous SUV was an '08 Trailblazer and you could only go up to about a 30.6" tall tire before you risked making contact with the upper ball joint on them without using spacers.
From the looks of the pics of the camper on the Nissan it looks like he may have to so it can clear the roof of the Ford with its taller cab. Im guessing hes going to put tool boxes in the gaps that would normally be filled by the Nissans fenders and bedsides when its on the Ford.
Great looking Scrambler man! Looks good with the mild upgrades of the bedliner on the floor only and the tool box. Sadly with the prices of older Jeeps nowadays up here in Canada the closest i could get to owning a Scrambler would be buying a TJ Unlimited.
Great updates for sure! Looking forward to future ones. Granted i am working on a Chevy van but this build still inspires ideas to see what can be done with it.
I think you are right about it being all three. It does look like its higher on the right side then the left. So with the new planned set up how much taller are you over the original height? I have been reading this thread over a couple times to fully understand what all was changed. I like the...
Lots of great ideas in here! I know where i can get my hands on a short box from a GMT400 pick up most likely for a reasonable price. My Sierra has a Raider canopy on it that would work well on that box to create a self contained trailer. Which would open up the bed of said Sierra to have a rack...
