Thanks for watching out for me pskhaat. I'm going to hold off for now, but if you still have them in a few weeks when I'm heading down to Phoenix I may pick them up.
Please confirm that these are load range E, I was trying to avoid such a stiff tire on my Jeep.
Interesting project, I'll be interested to see how many takers they find.
The exciting thing in that article that I saw was that BFG is making a 255/80 r17 KM2, sounds like I have found my next set of tires.
I wouldn't be worried about the Thule rack, it's the flimsy JK roof that it appears to be bolted directly into. I sure hope there is some internal support that ties the rack into the roll bar, but my guess is that it is just a show rig.
I've got some fenders from my m101 that I just pulled off to be replaced by my new AT Chaser Fenders that need to find a new home. Where are you located?
The trailer will not "require" insurance, the liability will extend from the tow vehicle. If you feel the value of the trailer you end up with warrants insuring than you should certainly purchase a policy for property coverage.
I find my JK a perfectly acceptable daily driver for taking my two kids to school every morning and still allowing me to live a fantasy life on the weekends. That being said, I don't live within 100 miles of an Interstate and rarely hit 65 miles per hour so a lack of power for acceleration/...
There is another thread floating around about these tires which may be limiting your responses. I think it is a great looking tire and it will be at the top of my list when my bfg mt's wear out.
