    EarthRoamer XV-JP "Northwest Edition"

That's the best understatement in this whole thread. Paul, I know this sounds like a broken record, but this has been quite the inspiring thread.

How legible is the screen in bright sunlight? How long is the USB cable?

New FWC layout - what do you think?

I like the tan soft sides from the inside...I think they're a really good match to the cabinets. I see Doc's point thought about the exterior matching or not matching well with the vehicle color. For me, the lighter color on the inside would make it brighter inside, making it seem roomier...

    Montero Questions

Go with the Mitsubishi parts. Considering the effort to get to the water pump, would you want to do it twice? The Mitsubishi parts are usually very good and worth the $. And, as was said before, the pricing is competitive if you know where to buy.

Beer of the day: A saga for the perfect beer.

Yep; that's a pretty good beer right there. I've got the regular Milk Stout and the Nitro version both in the fridge. I like the fact that it's readily available and brewed not too far from here. You should try the Breckenridge Brewery Vanilla Porter too. It's not quite the same texture as...

Beer of the day: A saga for the perfect beer.

Awesome thread. One I'm enjoying lately: Odell Brewing Company's 5 Barrel Pale Ale.

I've left the Toyota Fold, AKA my Montero Build Thread

No problem; glad I could help. Ask for Keith Sexton, the Mitsu parts manager. He's not only very helpful, but very knowledgeable. Their prices are great too.

    Map pouch

While not a pouch, the Saddleback Leather thin briefcase (large) would hold several Gazatteers and Benchmark (book style) maps.

The camp cot thread; what's good, what's bad ...

Jeff, find out what Marzonie is using. He's using a cot full time now.

I've left the Toyota Fold, AKA my Montero Build Thread

I'm a little late to the party, but I wanted to ask if this had been addressed already. I didn't see it in the thread, but I may have just missed it. If this is still an issue, it is probably just a few bulbs burned out behind the gauge cluster. This happened on my '01 and I got the parts...

FOR SALE: Snow Peak BBQ Box CK-130

Dan, I think that's a sign from the overlanding gods that you should keep it, too awesome to part with :)

Tire chains, snow, mud, and airing down.....

Just received a full set of RUD Grip 4X4 chains for my 285/75/r16 tires. I am rather impressed by the quality. They're lighter and a bit more compact than I had thought they would be. They also come in a nice carry case for each set (per axle)...something else I hadn't counted on...
