    AEV Rear bumper water tanks

I use the tanks for longer trips and they work fine. tight trails here in the East that have lots of vegetation/limbs/rocks. both the tanks/connectors & mudflaps have held up fine. Matt - 4xfish

    4xFish 2014 JKUR Build

jeffe- your Jeep is looking good! it does look nicely balanced with that tire/lift combo. I'd run those tires until their dumpster food and then reevaluate. 35s are a little stuffed looking on that lift but when I had them I dug the combo. thank you! the AEV rack has been a winner. I...

I do believe I found my next awning

AluCab Shadow awning has an integrated leg but the awning is self-supporting. During my testing period I never needed to use the leg- even during heavy rain and pretty windy conditions. But its there if you get severe conditions. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Converting a factory JK/JKU hardtop to modular

the soft windows on a hardtop would be cool- especially if you could also put in glass windows or even screens depending on your adventure. I'm curious to see if the JL goes this route with the fixed roof. Matt - 4xfish

    Dodge Ram bed rack

saw the Leitner setup when I was at OK last time and looked pretty solid. if I get a truck at some point I'd definitely add it to the top of my contender list. aluminum construction & interchangeable accessories are a big plus. OutdoorX4 did a story on the rack which might give you some more...

I'll start by saying I've seen more people kick themselves for not going 35s first time around so definitely consider that. To me the 4dr looks pretty natural with 35s and smiles per mile are way high. the 305/70/17 or something like the 285/75/17 will definitely get you through that kind of...

Thanks! ask away! yup the last lift on the silver one was the AEV 2.5 (ran a couple different OME setups before that) on KM2 35s. I really liked the 2.5 and we currently run it on our 2dr Rubicon. But I'd have to say I'm a convert to the 3.5. It's a well rounded kit and it's worth the...

Alu-Cab Has Landed In The USA!

we've been testing the Alu-Cab RTT & Shadow Awning. so far impressed with the build quality & attention to detail of the RTT and completely spoiled how easily the awning deploys/stows in addition to extra coverage it offers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

thank you- glad to hear it's helpful! the little plate where the CB wore comes out was included in the Cobra 75 kit. it cleans up the holes nicely. I believe I ended up just ziptying the box out of the way so it wouldn't rattle or shift.

as I'm sure you know you can totally improve performance on a budget. There's always plenty of Rubi takeoffs on Craigslist or Jeep forums. The Rubi sliders will take a decent beating. I haven't felt the need to upgrade them on my current build. I'm a fan of the BFG KMs as well. They'll...

    Roof rack wiring

you can run them inside the rack tubing for a clean look. there are grommets on the rack that you can remove & fish your wires to the front. if you're planning to tilt the rack you'll want to add waterproof quick disconnect plugs. delivered by winged monkeys
