Doesn't the PN-40 keep the position marker in the center of the screen now, so a complete screen refresh isn't required as on the PN-20 where the marker moves across the screen and the map is stationary until the marker reaches the edge of the screen?

I like the DeLorme topo maps a lot. Their own vector versions of the USGS topos (the ones that the PN-20 uses for the regular basemap) work great, and you can also switch to the raster image topos (scanned USGS paper topos) so it gives you the added versatility of combining the digitized maps...

Hello Ian, I'll assume the truck is a 4WD and say "yes" the tires should fit with the stock suspension. Depending on the health of the springs and shocks, you may or may not experience a slight rub on hard compression, but likely not.

Congrats on your new 4Runner :) All 2WD and 4-HI driving aside, I think it will be the most annoying in 4-LO on the trail, when you are trying to drive slow and maintain some finesse in technical terrain. Especially with a manual. I would definitely incorporate that element into your test run...
