It is an interesting little rig. The owner is a member of the forum, and has been trying to sell it for a while. Looks like the price has come down, based on this thread (which has more pictures than the Craigslist ad)...
Very impressive build and thanks for taking the time to document and share it with us. I'm always interested in seeing ingenuity and resourcefulness at work, and you've certainly demonstrated those qualities in putting together a capable vehicle without breaking the bank.
Cool Astro. Not sure if it's a scam, but here it is listed on an auction site. Note that it isn't cars.com but "carscoms.com" which seems fishy as well. At least there is a phone number to call in this ad if someone wants to try to talk to an actual person to see if it's legit...
I could be wrong, but I don't think that's a real Rubicon (despite the decals on the hood). In the photo of the gear shift and console, it doesn't look like it has the buttons for axle lock and sway bar disconnect. Still might be a decent buy with the Habitat, but not nearly as good as it...
It's now on Bring A Trailer, so the exposure to buyers just increased quite a bit. Won't be surprised if this goes quickly - it does look to be in fantastic shape.

Outstanding photos, and an interesting culture for sure. I'm about to head to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand and eager to experience their cultures as well.
Thanks for the update. Great shots of the bear, and the moose hanging out with cows is something you don't see everyday. The fox photo is also great. They're not as shy as I once thought (at least the gray foxes around my area). Came across one before dawn while walking my 65 pound mutt and...
Yep, it's too cheap. Looks like the ad is a fake. Here's a pic of the same van for $30k.
