Thanks again for the update and photos. I hope to actually visit some of the places you've posted about - instead of just living vicariously through your blog.
Thanks again for the update. Great landscape photographs (also loved the one of Petey and his flying ears).
Just FYI, the link in the last post doesn't seem to work, but I was able to get to it from a previous update link.
Thanks for the update and photos. I think they're all good, but I especially like the B&W portrait of Pancho (and much more so than the color version of the same photo in the blog update). It often surprises me how much more impactful some photos - especially portraits and landscapes - are in...
"A couple of the photos were taken while the camper was on the original 1977 chassis."
Thanks for the clarification. I thought maybe you'd somehow removed the back part of the '88 truck cab, but wasn't sure what I was looking at. Safe travels with your new rig.
Really cool camper. I'm confused by some of the pics. Is there a bulkhead/rear window between the cabin and the camper? In some shots it looks like there is, and in others it appears open?
No need to email since more pics are also available at your dealership's website listing: http://www.mendelsgarage.com/listings/1990-mitsubishi-delica-2/
If you're into stargazing, Big Bend is some of the best dark sky country around. Not my pic, but here's a sample: http://www.bigbendchat.com/portal/forum/big-bend-photographs/milky-way/?PHPSESSID=d83cb06df495111a467d95131d1ae7b1

TSB - thanks for cross-posting the V-drive listing here. I'd forgotten about this separate thread specifically for vans. PB - I agree that V-drive is unique. I wonder how well it functions in the real world.
The local motto is "Keep Austin Weird". I'd say this fits the bill. No affiliation, but thought I'd pass along.

Katmai sounds like a great place and the grizzly pics are terrific. FYI - the link in the latest post is broken, but the link in the previous post still works.
Sounds like a great trip. Glad to hear Grabow's Jeep is still being put to good use. I remember that for sale thread generating much discussion about the asking price. Whatever the final price was, it looks like you've got your money's worth.
Thanks for the update and great storytelling. It's amazing what people like Oso can do with so little equipment. I'm vicariously enjoying the cold climates of your travels while putting up with 100 F temps here in TX.
Thanks for the update. I'd say your camping spot in the post above is bit more attractive than the ************** to elbows campground shown in your blog update. I guess everyone has their own definition of getting away from it all.
