That is what I meant by the "whole linkage assembly". Very much a plug and play affair.

If all else fails you can get new linkage assemblies online for about 50-60, and just bolt the window up. Had to do this on two of my windows when I first got my 2.5.

Thanks for the advice. I lengthened front of skid to cover part of cross member for additional strength. Cut down the number of angle iron re-enforcements to three running lengthwise; 5 really put them too close together and likely not needed if base material is 3/16" steel. I'll post pics once...

Wondering if the tabs that the engine skid plate mounts to at the rear of the plate are strong to mount a skid to, or should I incorporate a lip to go forward using the cross member for additional strength and use the tabs to keep it in place? The pattern I laid out would bridge the space...

A few days ago, but finished my aux trans cooler, fan, AC fan replacement and blue sea fuse box install. Now I have an on demand switch for AC fan to cool the car when going slow off road and another for a separate 7" fan that feeds the new trans and oil coolers. Back to working on my template...

Term 86 on relay goes to a switch, the other tab on the switch goes to a ground (wow, did I "f" that up) does the other contact on the switch need to go to a separate power source? I thought the trigger wire going from the switch to the relay provided power? I should state I usually use...

I have wired a bunch of new circuits through relays over the years for lights, horns, etc. I just ran a new circuit for an aux fan to cool a supplemental trans cooler and oil cooler at low speeds off road. I have tried numerous things to try and trouble shoot the circuit but still haven't...

CV @plh, thanks. Pretty sure those were put on in reversed (wrong) position. His replacement took so long because, he had the wrong axles first, and then broke the lower ball joint. I think too much time passed between disassembling and reassembling truck. I didn't have the same problem since...

So that is the washer with the groves/crosshatches going across at like four points? I'm positive I installed those with the grooves facing out (toward the hub). Hmmmm. My buddy left for a week in Cabo so his Montero is taking a stay-cation in my driveway. I'll take a look are it later today...
