Hard-Sided Pop-Up Camper by Hiatus Campers

Isn't raptor a 5.7" bed as well? I can't see how you would hit 700lbs with that setup. Options depending But yeah, short box and low payload is not optimal for a Raptor to be an "overlanding" rig

Hard-Sided Pop-Up Camper by Hiatus Campers

Full disclosure I haven't had my Hiatus very long, and I really only experience exploring it in my driveway while I measure and plan an interior buildout, Work, other truck projects and some injuries have kept me from using it on any trips. 😞 I have only have seen 2 people that are on Exp...

Help wanted - Overland Camper Build Direction

My only issue with SXSs is not anything about them or their owners. it's all the folks who rent one and drive like they stole it, with no experience and trail etiquette!

    Well kitted Econoline. no affiliation

Good call on striking while the iron was still hot. 2021-early 2023 I had so many people who wanted to buy my truck for much more than realistically it was worth. Sometimes I think I should have sold high. At the time though I had no idea when the market would correct enough to buy once the...

Really nice rig. Question, what is the battery box that you are / were using in the bed of the Jeep?

Help wanted - Overland Camper Build Direction

This. I recommend reaching out to them to discuss this before getting your heart set on this as an option. Due to the geometry of folding a hard sided pop up there are only certain places in the roof they could even fit a fan. Also there is not supposed to be much weight on the roof while...

Help wanted - Overland Camper Build Direction

you mentioned in your first post "Obviously the largest factor would be trail size and height for branches." Do you really need 40s on your jeep to do the trails you want to do Obviously this makes the jeep much taller. This and a popup, if you have an AC on the top aren't are going to be...

Yep. Also supply and demand for new campers and toppers. So many places that once had 1-2 year waits now are down to months. Many of them upgraded facilities to increase manufacturing capabilities and now the significant improvements in supply chain. Unfortunately I see a contraction in some...

I have seen some in person, and personally I think a 2011 SMB interior build is dated in appearance, and weight of interior setup for what you get. But that's probably since I've been in a few buddies sprinters that were built out with crazy $$ during covid. I do think the U-joint conversions...

2004 Tundra 103k 3.4 manual with fleet NOT SELLING

D'Oh, sorry I thought I read camper (canopy) shell 🤦‍♂️ Changed my mind on pricing. Not for me with the 3.4L but people do love 1st Gen Tundras.

2004 Tundra 103k 3.4 manual with fleet NOT SELLING

Whoops, shoot I replied before reading it carefully. Reading comprehension not my strong suit I guess. I was mixing this up with a truck a busy showed me and thought this was a Tundra with a canopy (not a 4WC shell) Update: yeah a bit hight but good starting point for negotiations condition of...

2004 Tundra 103k 3.4 manual with fleet NOT SELLING

Ouch, $25k. Is that where the market still is? This seems like a 2021-22 price. Not bashing, but you asked for feedback. IMO that price is Way too high, even being a desirable platform and low miles. Especially manual with only the 3.4L makes it a niche truck. I guess if someone will pay it...

    Well kitted Econoline. no affiliation

Yeah, basically for me $75-80k... Engine and body I wouldn't be too concerned, like you say, it's the little things in the conversion that could add up to a lot of $$ and difficulty in repairing

Dunno. I hate to admit, this is awesome a v10 with <50k miles with it being this clean. My wife hates vans but honestly this is probably one of the nicest I've seen as far as being the v10. Not diesel, not underpowered etc.
