It would be cool if Ford still made the E-250 or E-350 van platform with something like the 7.3L Godzilla gas guzzler engine. That with a 4x4 conversion and sportsmobile type of interior would check a lot of the boxes you have.
Sprinter AWDs have their purpose, and limitations. Sand is a...
@Zybane
Some good advice from folks already in this thread but I thought I would add my experience.
Sorry this is long, but I thought I would share my experience and it turned into a rambling essay.
This process is a lot to think about and can be very overwhelming when trying to do the...
Any more details about the truck? Any suspension mods to carry the camper?
I'm interested in the package so any more information on the truck as well greatly appreciated.
Sticker?
Also sorry if I missed it, but location?
General question.
Do you have the factory build sheet for the truck. It's SR5, but any other options / differences then "standard package"
Also, documentation for any recalls open and completed. The 1st year of 3rd Gen Tundras, have had many recalls IIRC.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I was horrified when I pulled my bed rail caps off. I never would have gotten this option if I didn't buy my truck a couple years gently used.
I only have today through Sunday until the camper goes back on. Weather is cold AF right now so I'll be spending a...
Si, Si very intrigued
I'll shoot you a DM this weekend. My trip home from Mojave could slight detour though SLC, in a couple weeks.
I gotta take the wife to Mule in WA for her opinion on the hawk flatbed before my trip though.
I've always gonne AGM, A my as I Do a lot of cold and hot weather...
Quick question, apologies if I missed it, there's a ton of great stuff in this build. But what are the mods you added after buying it? Curious what was most recently upgraded.
Thanks
Travis

Oh no! I just noticed you're in SLC UT. I go through southern UT (Grand staircase, Paria etc.) all the time and if I'm taking the quickest route back it's through Salt Lake
🤔😓
Totally agree!
Thanks for the reminder on this.
This is why I immediately brought it back to them for this issue (I fortunately am not that far away) without touching it.
In your opinion, any reason for LAP or eternabond tape on the exterior compared to using just sikflex for everything?
I don't want to do any additional sealing on things unless I get the OK (make sure it doesn't mess with my warranty
Thanks for the reply and stating the obvious:
On one hand (tens of?) thousands of Maxxair fans out there installed vs. the dozens or so vehicles that they have installed them in....
They use sika 221 for everything they seal interior and exterior.

I am curious if you know the information on the aluminum storage box in the cab? I have a bunch of Zarges but this one looks a great size for what I need, and probably Way cheaper than Zarges.
Someone please buy this truck or I'm gonna drain my bank account...
Update:
They graciously got me in to drop off the camper in as soon as I was able. Luckily I am about a 80-90 min drive to them so it wasn't too bad. I am glad I don't live somewhere across the country.
The fans were not working due to corrosion on a contact switch they have that prevents you...
