SPARE TIRE Carrier / HI-LIFT JACK Mount: I Don't need Mine Anymore So I'm SELLING It.

Very cool. If I didn't already have a roof mount for my basket, I'd run over and pick this up. GLWS.

bikerjosh's 1st gen 06 Tundra Dbl cab build

Yep, I have it; or at least that is the one I'm using but the trans never seems to get as hot as my 4runner. Not sure if it just runs that much cooler, pretty sure I'm reading the trans temp though because if I'm going uphill I can turn off the over drive and the temp comes down. Josh

bikerjosh's 1st gen 06 Tundra Dbl cab build

Been a long time since I updated this thread. Summer, bought a Montero to build, etc. Added a scan gauge, tablet mount, full set of skid row plates, Stubbs HD-SKO sliders, DIY bed organizer for upcoming DV fall trip, (needed secure 10 gallons of fuel, high lift, 2nd spare, sand ladders, etc)...

    seanpistol's 01 Tundra

bumper options Not to highjack seanpistol's build thread, but I reached out to relentless fabrication since they are almost local (200 miles away is local in my mind), haven't heard back from them, but front bumper is only confirmed to fit 2000-2003 tundras. I offered to bring my 06' DC up for...

Driverside door lock acuator removal question

    seanpistol's 01 Tundra

My .02 I prefer the first option in the overhead console. I'm always worried about inadvertently hitting dash mounted switches with knees etc.

getting excited for the new BFG KO2

Does this mean I won't tear off tread blocks, on rocks like the last set on my 4runner? My rear tires outer edges were looking pretty sad when I sold it. Shoe goo only goes so far. :smiley_drive:

Well, there is a video that comes to mind that some wacky dude made :victory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAcXAecJB-k Sounds, like more time consuming than really tough; "take your time" was the advice I got. Body Lift or not?

Thanks everyone. Yep so far happy with the 32's but haven't had any off road experience with it yet. Montero will be used mostly for overlanding/off roading w/the occasional rock crawling stretch thrown in. @nckwltn I'll measure tonight, I cranked the torsion bars to raise the front about...

    Body Lift or not?

So I was dead set (or so I thought) on doing a body lift on my new Montero. I have to say that with a OME suspension lift (shocks, and expedition springs in back), newly adjusted torsion bars to balance the height and 32 Dynapros truck seems pretty high. Ground to bottom of the pinch welds is...
