Yep, WM rack uses the OEM rail tracks for the rear and mid attachments, and then a couple of custom feet in front position. Had one on my 3rd gen before I sold it. Very nice.

Personal preference , go V8. I have an 06 tundra and love that motor. I looked at 4gen 4runners and only wanted the v8 really good torque, smooth, and very under stressed. Still trying to convince the wife we need to sell the mini van for a v8 4runner. Josh
